Arbitration study preliminary results
In section 1028(a) of the Dodd-Frank Act, Congress instructed us to study the use of pre-dispute arbitration contract provisions in connection with the offering or providing of consumer financial products or services. We’re in the process of conducting that study. This document presents preliminary results reached in our study to date. We’ll continue to study arbitration clauses and anticipate concluding the study and submitting our statutorily-mandated report to Congress 2014.
