About the Financial Well-Being Survey
In 2016, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) conducted the National Financial Well-Being Survey. This nationally representative survey of adults (ages 18 and older) featured the CFPB’s 10-item Financial Well-Being Scale, and measured individual and household characteristics that research suggests may influence adults’ financial well-being, including income and employment, savings, financial experiences, and financial capability.
