Taking consumer complaints is an important part of what we do, and we’re always working to provide you with the best complaint handling services we can.
To make this happen, we need to update our systems from time to time. One such update is taking place tomorrow (Tuesday, July 2) at our contact center, which handles consumers’ calls to our (855) 411-2372 number. We wanted to let you know about it since we have to close the contact center during the update.
This means that tomorrow, we won’t be able to accept complaints or answer your questions over the phone.
Even though the contact center will be closed tomorrow, if you have access to the internet you can still submit complaints and check the status of any complaints you have submitted at consumerfinance.gov/complaint. You can also see answers to commonly asked questions at consumerfinance.gov/askcfpb.
We’ll re-open our contact center on Wednesday, July 3 and will be ready to take your calls, questions, and complaints starting at 8 a.m. EST.
