Michael Harper, Ben Wilcox, Marc Hoffman et al.

The Bureau filed a lawsuit against the Hoffman Law Group and its affiliated companies and principals that collected more than $12 million in illegal advance fees for services that falsely promised to prevent foreclosures or renegotiate troubled mortgages. The CFPB obtained a $27.7 million judgment against the corporations.
