CFPB chief FOIA officer report 2014
When President Lyndon B. Johnson enacted the Freedom of Information Act on July 4, 1966, he stated that “the United States is an open society in which the people’s right to know is cherished and guarded.” We’re focused on complying with this vital statute in every aspect.
It’s our pleasure to submit our first annual report and highlight our accomplishments over the past year. In submitting this report, we take pride in emphasizing our quick response time to FOIA requests and exemplifying our commitment to educating all of our employees on the components of the FOIA.
