The information you provide will allow you to register for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s (CFPB) Research Conference.
The CFPB will obtain or access personally identifiable information such as your full name, email address, dietary restrictions, and any necessary accommodations. Your name and email address will also be used to contact you about future related events, reports, or other announcements from the CFPB’s Office of Research.
Information collected will be treated in accordance with the System of Records Notice (“SORN”), CFPB.011 Correspondence Tracking Database SORN, 78 FR 76286. Although the CFPB does not anticipate further disclosing the information provided, it may be disclosed as indicated in the Routine Uses described in the SORN. Direct identifying information will only be used by the CFPB to facilitate the registration process for the research conference and will be kept private except as required by law.
This collection of information is authorized by Pub. L. No. 111-203, Title X, Sections 1013 and 1022, codified at 12 U.S.C. §§ 5493 and 5512.
Registration is voluntary, you are not required to participate or share any identifying information with the CFPB, including your full name, email address, dietary restrictions, and any necessary accommodations. You may withdraw participation at any time. However, if you do not include the requested information, you may not register for the research conference.
