Overdraft Lending: Very Large Financial Institutions

On December 12, 2024, the CFPB issued a final rule that newly applies certain provisions of Regulations Z and E to very large financial institutions’ overdraft credit unless the fees imposed on consumers for using the overdraft credit is at or below the institution’s costs and losses.
