CFPB v. Fay Servicing, LLC

We are the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), a federal government agency that enforces laws that protect consumers. The CFPB issued a consent order against Fay Servicing.

The Bureau ordered Fay Servicing, LLC to address violations of a 2017 order, Regulation X, and the Consumer Financial Protection Act. A consent order required Fay Servicing to pay $3 million in consumer redress and a $2 million civil money penalty.
