Small business lending rule extension of compliance dates
The Bureau is issuing this proposed rule to implement section 1071 of the Dodd-Frank Act, governing small business lending data collection under ECOA and Regulation B.
The
CFPB (CFPB or Bureau) is seeking comments from
the public about the small business lending market. Congress requires the CFPB
to collect information about small business lending to help determine how well
the market is functioning. Our Request for Information asks for feedback to
help the Bureau better understand how to develop this data collection rule.
