2018 Financial Literacy Annual Report
Financial education is a core component of the Bureau’s mission under the Dodd-Frank Act. Accordingly, the Bureau focuses its efforts on a broad range of financial literacy and capability areas within its statutory mandate and relevant to consumers’ financial lives.
This report provides an update on the Bureau’s strategy and work to improve the financial capability of Americans. This includes descriptions of the Bureau’s FY18 financial education activities, and the Bureau’s progress in meeting its FY18 performance goals and measures in this work.
