Summary

This position is located at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, PRIVATE SECTOR ENGAGEMENT office. As an Industry Engagement and Relationship Specialist, you will report to the Assistant Director and provide assistance by leading and coordinating CFPB's engagements and relationship management with private-sector industry businesses based in the U.S. and abroad that impact American consumer finance across all sectors, as well as their respective trade associations.

Responsibilities

As an Industry Engagement and Relationship Specialist, you will:

  • Identify, develop, and sustain strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders to support and amplify CFPB's mission and priorities.
  • Engage with industry stakeholders to create collaborative opportunities that advance the Bureau's work on behalf of consumers in the financial marketplace.
  • Develop content and materials for discussions with industry stakeholders regarding the Bureau's rulemakings, policy work, and other significant public rollouts, i.e., talking points, memos, presentations, and website content, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
