Summary
This position is in the Office of Minority and Women Inclusion (OMWI), within the Office of the Director (OD), Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. OMWI leads agency matters relating to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in management, employment, and business activities.
Responsibilities
As a Director, Office of Minority and Women Inclusion, you will:
- Provide executive direction to the development and implementation of standards and procedures for increased workforce diversity and the inclusion, utilization, and participation of minority-owned and women-owned businesses in the Bureau's programs and contracts, including standards for coordinating technical assistance to such businesses.
- Provide executive direction to the development and implementation of metrics to monitor and assess the progress and effectiveness of standards and procedures, including analyses of the impact of program changes.
- Develop and implement procedures and metrics to monitor and assess the diversity policies and practices of entities regulated by the Bureau.
- Advise the Bureau Director and senior Bureau leadership on the impact of the Bureau's policies and regulations on minority-owned and women-owned businesses, and coordinates standards for technical assistance to these businesses.
