CFPB v. Global Financial Support, Inc., d/b/a Student Financial Resource Center, d/b/a College Financial Advisory; and Armond Aria, a/k/a Armond Amir Aria, individually, and as owner and CEO of Global Financial Support, Inc.

The CFPB alleged that defendants Armond Aria and his company, Global Financial Support, Inc. (Global), also known as College Financial Advisory (CFA), conducted a nationwide operation that deceived students and their families into paying a fee in exchange for an illusory student financial aid program.

In the College Financial Advisory (CFA) matter, defendants Armond Aria and his company, Global Financial Support, Inc. (Global), conducted a nationwide operation that deceived students and their families into paying a fee in exchange for an illusory student financial aid program. Defendants obtained over four million dollars from roughly 76,000 consumers through this scheme. These deceptive acts and practices violate Sections 1031 and 1036 of the Consumer Financial Protection Act of 2010 ("CFPA").
