Honors Paralegal Program

A two-year program for early career professionals interested in exploring a public service legal career focused on consumer protection. Honors Paralegals work alongside CFPB attorneys, using their research, analytical, and organizational skills to support the CFPB’s mission and make sure consumers are treated fairly in the financial marketplace.

Honors Attorney Program

A two-year program that provides law students and recent law school graduates early, substantive opportunities to use and develop their legal skills and make a difference in the lives of American consumers.

Director’s Financial Analyst Program

A highly selective, two-year rotational program. We seek out a small group of talented college graduates and challenge them to use their analytical skills to make financial markets work better for all.

Research Assistant Program

A two-year program for recent graduates in economics, mathematics, statistics, computer science, or behavioral and cognitive research. Working alongside the Bureau's cadre of experienced economists and behavioral researchers, research assistants help study key issues in the consumer financial marketplace.

CFPB Pathways Program

This program is designed to recruit and hire highly qualified students and recent graduates by providing paths to internships and full-time employment, as well as meaningful training, mentoring and career-development opportunities. Click below for information about each program within Pathways.

If you are a second, third- or fourth-year law student, CFPB is looking for you to join our team for an exciting opportunity. This semester long program provides students with developmental opportunities to use and grow their legal skills, all while helping to educate and empower the American consumer.
