Regulation Z’s Mortgage Loan Originator Rules Review Pursuant to the Regulatory Flexibility Act

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is conducting a review of Regulation Z’s Mortgage Loan Originator Rules (Loan Originator Rules) pursuant to section 610 of the Regulatory Flexibility Act. As part of this review, the Bureau is seeking comment on the economic impact of the Loan Originator Rules on small entities.

Registry of Supervised Nonbanks that Use Form Contracts to Impose Terms and Conditions That Seek to Waive or Limit Consumer Legal Protections

The Bureau is proposing to establish a public registry for nonbanks subject to the Bureau’s supervisory authority that use covered terms or conditions, as described in the proposed rule, in a new part 1092 in title 12 of the Code of Federal Regulations.
