We are the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), a federal government agency that enforces laws that protect consumers. The CFPB sued and reached a settlement with Burlington Financial Group, LLC.

On June 28, 2021 The CFPB and the defendants entered into a consent judgement order. More than 6,500 Consumers  who paid a fee for debt-relief or credit-repair services from January received nearly 22.3 combined award from the Victim Relief Fund.

The Bureau has completed the distribution of the related victim funds awarded in this case.

Victim compensation

The CFPB has contracted Epiq Class Action and Claims Solution INC to administer payments for this case and answer consumers' questions. This matter is now closed:
