If you think you or someone you know is a victim of fraud or a scam, contact the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), your state attorney general, or your local police.

- Report the fraud or scam to the FBI Internet Crimes Complaint Center at ics.gov or the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov.
- Contact your state attorney general. Visit the National Association of Attorneys General website to find your state office.
- Contact your local police or sheriff’s office using their nonemergency phone number or website.
