Meet us in Minnesota

Update 10/18/11 – In order to accomodate additional participants, the town hall event will now take place at the the Minneapolis Central Library, 300 Nicollet Mall. If you have already sent a RSVP, you are still confirmed. Post has been edited to reflect current information.

We’re on a mission. We’re criss-crossing the country to hear from consumers about their experiences with financial products and services.

Next stop: Minneapolis

On the evening of October 26, we hope you’ll join us at a town hall event at the Minneapolis Central Library where Raj Date, Special Advisor to the Secretary of the Treasury for the CFPB, will share the CFPB vision and our latest initiatives to help consumers.

Then we’ll get right to the most important part of this event: a community panel and an open mic session. We’ll listen to and learn from community members’ experiences with student loans, credit cards, mortgages, and other consumer financial products and services.

Your stories will inform our work to protect consumers and make the marketplace work for everyone. We hope you’ll join us in Minneapolis.

Tell your neighbors and RSVP at cfpb.events@cfpb.gov. If you can’t make it in person, this town hall event will be live streamed here on consumerfinance.gov. We’ll post the exact URL as we get closer to the event.
