Credit reporting requirements (FCRA)

On May 15, 2025, the CFPB withdrew its proposed rule titled “Protecting Consumer Information from Harmful Data Broker Practices,” as well as several other guidance documents pertaining to FCRA requirements. More information on these withdrawals can be found here and here .
