Responding to Your Suggestions

We’ve had a fun, busy day: launching the website, checking out suggestions as they come in and rounding up a few of our staffers to respond to your suggestions. And now we’ve just posted the first of these Open for Suggestions response videos.

Rich Cordray, the leader of our Enforcement team, responds to a suggestion that the CFPB inform consumers about the work done by state regulators and attorneys general. He explains how we plan to cooperate with state attorneys general to protect consumers and to enforce Federal consumer financial protection laws.

Our first video response covers how CFPB will work with state attorneys general and other state regulators to enforce federal consumer financial protection laws. The response comes from Richard Cordray, former Attorney General of Ohio and the lead of our enforcement team.

Anna Canfield, Advisor to the Chief of Staff, responds to a question about applying for positions at CFPB.
