Congress requires the CFPB to collect information about small business lending to help determine how well the market is functioning. Our Request for Information asks for feedback to help the Bureau better understand how to develop this data collection rule.
The Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection (Bureau) is conducting an assessment of the Mortgage Servicing Rules Under the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (Regulation X), as amended prior to January 10, 2014, in accordance with section 1022(d) of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
The Credit CARD Act requires the Bureau to conduct a review of the consumer credit card market, within the limits of its existing resources available for reporting purposes. In connection with conducting that review, and in accordance with the act, the Bureau is soliciting information from the public about a number of aspects of the consumer credit card market.
