The hotel sent a Thank you for staying email reflecting confirmation # XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX check-in, XX/XX/XXXX check-out, and an award of XXXX loyalty points. \n\nBarclays nevertheless denied my billing dispute after accepting the merchants conclusory statement and internally generated folio. Barclays did not require objective proof of actual service delivery, such as a signed registration card, ID verification, key issuance records, or room access logs. \n\nThis was not a reasonable investigation.
