The agent goes on to tell me my new file number and will not give me a reason as to why my file continues to be deleted or why I can not view my TransUnion credit report/score. \n\nNext, I am transferred to another department and am greeted by an agent named XXXX. I am then told the reason why I can not access my account is because it needs to be verified. I answer some security questions and am told that my account has now been verified. I am then instructed to wait XXXX to XXXX minutes and then I will be able to view my credit report/score. \n\nI still can't view my credit report/score and it's been XXXX hours since I got off the phone with TransUnion. \n\nI have been met with nothing but defensiveness and thrown blame. I have spoken with TransUnion staff at least 5 times this year alone. I have been cooperative in submitting requested state and government documents, I have gone through the process of creating a new account/file with TransUnion twice already, I've answered security questions, given out sensitive personal information, and yet, TransUnion has continued to fail in providing me with a credit report/score. It is my right, as an American citizen, to be able to view my credit report/score. My credit score should have passed XXXX by now but because of the inaccurate Transunion reporting and the pattern of hard inquiries from the same XXXX XXXX, my score continues to suffer with Transunion. The proactive measure of freezing my credit file, which should prevent unauthorized inquiries, has proven ineffective against XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX  persistent actions. This is a blatant disregard for my rights as a consumer and a failure in ensuring the security of my credit information. I only had the freeze temporarily lifted upon suggestion from a XXXX XXXX XXXX representative when I went to open a checking and savings account with them. Moreover, the reporting inaccuracies from Transunion have further compounded the problem. Examples of this are not updating my accounts accurately by not providing the correct monthly balance updates.This egregious error has had a severe impact on my credit score, hindering my financial plans, particularly my ability to proceed with a house purchase. I shouldn't have to constantly have to reach out to the CFPB to help me get my information corrected, updated, and protect my security. This is unacceptable. I have already let Transunion know that I have not requested credit from XXXX XXXX nor authorized this! At one point, starting in XXXX, I had legally only one name, which was XXXX, and because the two fields for First Name and Last Name are required in most databases, the first and last name would sometimes be inverted, but it always contained my legal name no matter what. \nApparently, there are no duplicate records under my social security number or birthdate according to the customer service representatives at TransUnion. \n\nI have already sent two overnight packages to them at their XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, PA XXXX which they acknowledged receiving that contained my updated name, social security card, drivers license and statements from my creditors, but they still can not acknowledge my credit score and say they can not find any instances of my creditors reporting my account status and credit history. \n\nI even signed up for the credit monitoring service provided by TransUnion.com and it shows credit scores for XXXX and XXXX, but not TransUnion. \n\nMy husband and I have been preliminarily approved for a new mortgage loan for our house, but they can not finalize it because the local bank only gets credit scores from TransUnion and they need mine.
