I sent copies of my ss #, driver license, correct address etc all supporting documents to All three Credit Reporting Agencies, IRS, My attorney, so that it would be cleared up. 3 yrs is too long to have to keep taking time from my busy schedule to keep reaffirming my correct information. It was all cleared up in XX/XX/XXXX. The collection company sent a letter, as did the IRS. Now the issue is that Equifax still has Wrong information, that they were to remove but didn't. When a company is asking to verify who I am, and all of the questions are pulled from my credit report ... ... .the questions are wrong because I never lived at the incorrect address information, nor the student loan questions. I have tried to clear this up with Equifax and again to verify who I am, they want me to answer security questions that are not correct information. There has to be a more efficient answer for security questions, If they go by the questions off a credit report, then that credit reporting agency should have correct answers that only that person would know, like what is favorite nephew questions, ( information that I would only know ) not someone who has a copy of my file. My credit union was asking me to verify myself, and it was pulling the questions and answers from an inaccurate credit reporting agency. On XX/XX/XXXX I logged on to eqifax website to get a free credit report and after answering the security questions with the correct answer of NONE above, it denies me access. I call and they want me to verify with the same WRONG information. \nHelp, I am so wore out over this merry go round with them. I had disputed information with Equifax all XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX. I shouldn't have to resend them my SS #, drivers license, etc. They have all that from last year.
