The whole purpose of a credit freeze is to protect your identity. To unfreeze your report they are asking for all of your personal information ; everything someone would need to steal your identity. What sense does that make??? \n\nBelow is what they want : We were unable to honor your request to temporarily remove your security freeze based on the information you entered. \nSending us your information To temporarily remove your security freeze, please mail us this letter ( or the information in it ), along with one copy of a government issued identification card, such as a drivers license, state ID card, etc., one copy of a utility bill, bank or insurance statement, etc., and a copy of your Social Security card or another document that displays your Social Security number.
