Competent software development operations consider a server returning an HTTP 500 to be an issue to be resolved quickly and task engineers with preventing them from recurring, as unexpected errors may lead to security problems and prevent them from fulfilling their legal obligations to customers, but Equifax appears not to run a competent software development organization or to care about customer experience. \n\nI have attempted at least three times to report this error so that I might gain access to an account to be able to freeze my credit, and have spent hours on the phone with Equifax customer service attempting to report this bug in their web application and seek a way to work around it. Equifax has never resolved this issue. Was not successful in making me primary on the lease as not KMF policy. Paid on lease until close in XX/XX/XXXX. Told by KMF that any fees would be addressed by dealer at time of vehicle return. XXXX, PA Kia stated no further charges and gave account closed paperwork and clean vehicle report. ( Attached ). KMF closed my account on or about XX/XX/XXXX with a XXXX balance. In XX/XX/XXXX my credit score dropped almost 100 points due to an unpaid balance owed to KMF of which I was unaware. I contacted KMF and they said they tried to contact the primary signatory party several times unsuccessfully. I told KMF they never contacted me. They stated by law they are not allowed to. I stated we had a contract, how could that be so, and if so, how could this end up on my credit report? KMF stated they are not legally allowed to leave a voice message, send an email, and they do not send certified letters. All letters sent to my address were sent in primary signatory party name to which the USPS will not deliver due to that person not living at the address and perhaps a change of address filed by primary party. I related to KIA that they had no problem contacting my by mail, phone or email for any other issue and that XXXX, PA KIA stated the lease was fulfilled. KIA would not remove the negative credit collection yet still wanted money for a charge I was unaware of.
