In   XXXX   I was told by a  Sallie Mae supervisor that they would use the resources at their disposal to connect with her. I explained that   I could not pay what they were asking as I am already paying another private Student Loan of hers which is {$720.00} per month. I ca n't afford anything more. They needed to find her and figure this out with her. In   XXXX   I spoke with  Sallie Mae agai n and provided an address and phone number for a he place of employment based on her LinkedIn profile. In   XXXX   when I spoke with  Sallie Mae aga in they informed me that they had not tried to find or reach out to her but needed me to pay. I do not understand why with the resources at their disposal they have no accountability to track her down and fit out what her ability to pay is? I was very disappointed that they did nothing with the information I provided them to find her and provided no solution for me. Since this is a  Federal lo an do n't they have an obligation to at the very least provide solutions for the borrow and to do that need to find a way to be in communication with her? It does n't appear to me that they are doing the jobs they are being paid to do. During that time student loans were taken out based off of XXXX telling me that my tuition would never go up and I would be making XXXX a year right out of college. After doing some research I found out that XXXX had lied to me and due to the government pulling their funding based off of illegal activities I sought to have these student loans discharged along with my private ones. Per the form I sent to Navient there is a fine print item that says If you withdrew more than 120 days before the school closed, you may be eligible for this form of discharge if the Department determines that exceptional circumstances related to the school 's closing justify an extension of this 120 day period. Examples of exceptional circumstances include but are not limited to the closed schools loss of accredidation, the closed schools discontinuation of the majority of its academic programs, action by the state to revoke the closed schools license or a finding by a state or federal government agency that the closed school violated state or Federal Law. Per that disclaimer Navient must wipe out the lines and any interest that accrued during that time period. They must also reimburese me on any payments I made towards those lines at that time. Navient has denied my request twice stating that I was out of the school for longer than 120 days. When I brought up the terms and conditions with them they denied it again. If Navient does not discharge the loans taking out during that time period they will force me to seek legal counsel and sue them to have the loans discharged. I meet the requirements for the loans to be discharged so they must be discharged. XXXX had their funding pulled due to fraudulent activity and statements made by the company. I never would have went to XXXX nor would I have pulled out student loans if I knew the statements they were telling me was false. Furthermore, Navient has discharged student loans for other people past the 120 threshold for the same reasons they just went to a different school. A few of these people I know personally and that is how I found out about this. If Navient is going to discharge the loans for one person based off of this they must discharge them for all the people meeting this requirement otherwise they are discriminating against me. He ignored me and continued to ask for an amount. I told him if he does n't provide the information, I will file a complaint. He then stated why do n't I tell them about the balance I owe on account for that matter. This man was very rude and extremely disrespectful and refused to give me the information. I had to disconnect the line and call back in to get the information I needed. I am concerned. Navient has already done things on my account that I did not authorize, and now I am dealing with agents that think its okay to speak to me however they please. The XXXX. XXXX is XXXX XXXX CO. XXXX, so I had my Credit Union put a stop payment on the check and reissue to XXXX and was sent to the XXXX CO address. I felt confident that this would be the final solution to getting the proceeds to XXXX, however, today is XX/XX/2017 and the loan still shows way too far past due. We simply want to pay off this account. I am concerned about any credit bureau repercussions as a result. We planned way far enough in advance to get this loan paid off. This has been going on since XX/XX/2017 ... Can you please intervene and help get this issue resolved? \nThe CFPB responded on XX/XX/2017 with this : XXXX received your payment of {$1900.00} dated XX/XX/2017. This payment cleared any delinquency on your account. We are able to confirm no negative delinquency information has been reported to the credit bureaus by XXXX. However, we are unable to honor your requested payoff amount of {$1900.00} from XX/XX/2017, since the delay in receipt of your intital XX/XX/2017 payment and the payment dated XX/XX/2017 were not due to any error on our part. Interest continues to accrue on a loan balance in repayment until a payment is received and processed. He is a poor excuse of an employee and needs to be taught by his subordinates how to provide customer service. I noticed my credit reports with equifax and experian are stating XXXX missed payments on XXXX different loans for XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. I have asked Navient several times to correct this mistake as I was in deferment but to no avail. I contacted them and asked them to send me a list of all deferments and forbearance that I had on all my loans per their document I was covered under deferment and forbearance and they will not remove. It 's created a burden on my life, which I understand will go away after 7 years, but I would like to be considered to remove these late payment charges from my credit report and even pay some of the interest on my student loans.
