They promised me several times that they would contact the store where the card was used to make the fraudulent transactions ( the only information BoA gave to me was that the card was used in person to buy furniture from a chain department store specifically located in XXXX on a date that I was not even in that city, at a store that I had never heard of and had never stepped foot into, certainly I had never bought furniture as a I was a tourist! ). Bank of America closed my fraud case on three occasions stating that they had no proof that I had not made those payments, but without providing me any proof from their supposed 'investigation ' findings ( despite their promise to do so ). Had BoA actually taken steps to conduct a thorough investigation, they could have easily requested the security tapes from the department store which would have shown who made these payments ( since BoA did have information, they told me, that the charges were made using my card and in person at the store ). Clearly BoA did not conduct any significant investigation, else they would have information to share with me about the fraudulent activity, and they would have found evidence that could have protected me, proven that it was not me, and helped ensure my trust in the bank which I have been a loyal customer of for more than 15 years! \n\nAlso, my card was blocked by BoA and only after several months I reported the fraudulent activity many times, did I receive a replacement card in the mail, still it has not been secure for me to use my credit card, especially since BoA did not conduct a thorough investigation and did not provide me with any information about what happened nor information about how I could set up more security to protect me from any potential future fraud on my card ; and thus I have had to suffer from not having the option to use my card -very important for my security in making payments while travelling ( ATM withdraws are very dangerous in XXXX due to the high rate of ATM scams and robberies ), which is difficult as I am a tourist traveling in XXXX XXXX all these months. I asked BoA to put some extra layers of security on my credit card so that we could try and prevent future fraudulent activity but they said to me that there were no options to do so, not even placing a pin number on the card! \n\nI conducted my own research and found several potential reasons for this fraudulent activity on my credit card : ( 1 ) perhaps my card was cloned by someone unknown when I had used it at a restaurant or store to make an authentic purchase previous to the date of the fraud activity ( I hear that this has happened in XXXX ) ; ( 2 ) I had requested BoA to send me new credit and debit cards in the mail last fall previous to the incident because my cards ' chips were scratched and not able to be read in swiping for payment in card readers -BoA was supposed to send me a replacement card and I hadn't received it, so I called to complain last fall and I think what they did was maybe send another card after my complaint but in the meantime maybe the first replacement card they sent was not cancelled by BoA and then maybe arrived to some location in XXXX without my knowing. I had asked BoA to cancel their first replacement card sent, and to send me a new one with new security details ( with a new credit card number ) so that it was not a 'replacement card ' / 'copy ' but rather a new card with a new number, but I think BoA failed to make this security assurance and perhaps two cards arrived in the mail to XXXX with one being stolen by some other person.. ; ( 3 ) perhaps this was part of a larger BoA scam from within the company. Regarding this last point, I am not accusing BoA of frauding my account, but it does not rule out the possibility of this happening. I looked at the consumer complaint database on the CFPB website, using the filtration system, I searched for complaints against BoA for credit card fraud / wrongful charges on customers ' credit cards, and found about 200 of 1,384,105 reported complaints similar to mine. This said I would want CFPB to conduct an investigation to find out why so many customers of one of America 's largest and important banks all experienced the same thing? \n\nOn top of all of this, BoA made me feel like a criminal as they accused me of making the fraudulent payments when I called them on the phone on several occasions. \n\nI had to undergo extreme financial stress as I didnt have access to using my card all those months, I underwent emotional, psychological trauma and in consequence personal problems in my relationships and this also affected my ability to work. I also underwent financial and time loss as I had to call BoA and wait for hours on the phone, I was consistently disconnected and had to call again and again waiting for 40 minutes each time to reach a representative, then disconnected when transferring me to different departments.. It was a living nightmare of 8 months that I experienced because of BoA 's negligence, accusatory behavior, failure to be organized and take seriously a fraudulent case against one of its loyal customers, failure to help a customer set up security and prevent fraud. \n\nAll this while I have been in a serious semi / permanent health condition suffering serious injury to my XXXX and I told BoA on the phone each time every month that I had to wait and struggle with them, that all this stress was causing my physical condition to worsen, but they did not give me any care for my XXXX by speeding up the process or taking extra care to reduce my pain and stress. I have suffered further from my injury because of the disrespect of BoA towards me in failing to put care into my case. \n\nI first filed a complaint against BoA with CFPB in XX/XX/2019 and BoA responded to CFPB 's letter to BoA regarding my case with refunding me the money. However, this is only half justice, I suffered so much for 8 months because of BoA incompetencies and maybe corruption against its customers. I am writing to CFPB asking for help with the following : 1. please write to / contact BoA to give them the chance to do right on their wrong towards me in not providing me with information from their investigation findings that shows evidence on what exactly happened with the fraud case on my card. I was promised by BoA that they would do this and inform me of findings, but they never did so and never communicated any findings to me. They simply accused me of making those payments without any proof either way..\n\n2. I want to file a suit against BoA and know that CFPB does not provide legal advice in any way, however, I would ask CFPB if it could provide any further information about those 200 cases of consumer complaints against BoA, all of which were for wrongful charges on their cards, just like mine. I would want to know when exactly those other credit card fraud cases happened ( were they during similar times as mine -I put in a filter on timing ranging dates similar to those I experienced fraud ) ; I would also want to know more about those cases, whether they received refunds, whether the banks gave reason and proof /evidence from their investigations.. It started after Citi bank South Dakota, took me to court bc I the consumer had massive amount of fees. I wanted them to take me court, Bc there was a judgment /already in place which XXXX. I do appreciate the judge for granting me my judgement. The Judge told me to pay XXXX w. Which commencing on XX/XX/XXXX. The judge told me I had to send weekly payments to Citi banks Attorneys Office, which I did. It was a total of XXXX court proceedings, and the third court proceeding never took place in XXXX, Citi Banks Attorney started double charging me each time. I sent payment to there Attorneys office. I was truly trying to pay this Credit Card off making double payments and even took out loans, bc I didnt no my rights were being violated at the time until the Attorney office was charging me crazy amount of money even tho judge granted my modification of {$25.00}. I would pay double payments of XXXX dollars to Attorneys office trying so hard to pay this bill off, but Citi Bank Attorney office had different intentions they would charge me extra XXXX dollars of interest and not reporting this to IRS /Gov so the Attorney office was embezzling money from me, there were so many different amounts money they told me I owed on the statements they sent me. It outrageous amount of money. It got to the point. I couldnt keep up with different amounts they said owed them. Then Citi bank after 14 years hired another Attorneys Office to make matters even worse for me before the pandemic hit us they fired attorney that was working on case bc I sent evidence to them wat last attorney did to me, so they went thru many lengths to get back at me even. Took me court .again after 14years why? They told me. I could join into a remote hearing conference call, but Attorney did ever thing possibly to make sure, I didnt get into that remote conference call. I never received a invite from XXXX to download the invite. I even have emails proving that I tried to get in hearing conference call. I got the run around bc they didnt want me to let the Court know what was going on, .So Attorney that was on the case gave me the around, so that never happened. so they lied to my employer said they couldnt reach agreement with me the Consumer. Went thru many length to garnished my check to the 25 % maximum of my pay. But they had no problem sending my employer a blank form of a bogus judgment even tho there was judgement that, I was trying to fight Which was XXXX weekly. That judgement on XXXX XXXX never was sent to my employer. now I cant pay my bills. I didnt owe this money bc ( Attorney said to me it doesnt matter wat ( judge ) says we can do wat ever we want to u, So they been embezzling so much money out of me. At the time of signing, I brought up that \" XXXX '' is my maiden name and not my legal name, but I was dismissed and was told that wouldn't be an issue. Initially the entirety of our funds was transferred into our bank account totaling {$100000.00} on XX/XX/XXXX although we did not request the funds at that time. I wrote a check totaling {$90000.00} returning the majority of the funds on XX/XX/XXXX. I explained that we wanted to only use the funds when needed. I then explained once again that my legal name is \" XXXX '' and not \" XXXX '' - at which point we were told we would need to resign papers in my legal name. Our offer was accepted, and we intended to use our HELOC funds to close on the home and pay a painter to go into our prior home to paint so that we could get ready to rent or sell the property on XXXX XXXX. \nI hired a painter to paint the house the last week of XXXX because we had a planned vacation out of state that week, which would make it easier for him to complete the task. He emailed me a quote for {$6000.00}, which I knew we could cover with the HELOC funds. \nA closing date was set for XX/XX/XXXX for our new home at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. In order to get our loan fully approved, the bank needed to see the funds for the closing in our bank account. I wrote a check for {$40000.00} from our our HELOC and deposited it into our XXXX checking account on XX/XX/XXXX, which did not go through bc the checks had been cancelled by Shellpoint at that point after I had reached out to Shellpoint to tell them that we had not received the checks in my legal name yet. On XX/XX/XXXX I wrote another check ( we received checks from Shellpoint in the mail ) for {$40000.00} to deposit, which also did not go through because those checks had ALSO been canceled by Shellpoint. This happened a third time on XX/XX/XXXX. By this time I had made numerous calls to Shellpoint and several complaints. I was told the checks were on their way time-and-time again. \nOnce XXXX came around, we were getting nervous about getting access to our funds in time for the closing. Our hot tub was delayed, so we didnt have to pay that bill yet. As the closing date drew closer, we realized we had to have a back up plan. On XX/XX/XXXX, I was told by Shellpoint that our checks were mailed out and would arrive in 6-10 business days. \nI reached out to my father who said he would gift us the funds temporarily, but he said he needed the funds back in his account by the first week of XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, my father wired {$40000.00} into our checking account to be used to finalize our loan and prepare for closing. Because we knew my father was going to need those funds, and because we knew Shellpoint had been completely unreliable at this point, we reached out to a friend of ours who was willing to loan us the {$40000.00} to give back to my father, and then we would owe her instead. She took {$10000.00} out of her savings and depleted her own HELOC in order to get us those funds. I continued to reach out to Shellpoint, and they continued to tell me that our checks were on the way. \nThankfully, to our family and friends, we were able to close on our new house on XX/XX/XXXX. We moved out of our home on XXXX XXXX and into our new home on XXXX XXXX XXXX. At this point we owed {$40000.00} to our friend. Our HELOC checks still had not arrived. \nOn XX/XX/XXXX, I called Shellpoint and told them that we still had not received checks. I told them not to cancel the prior checks but to send out another set in the meantime as it was imperative that we have access to our funds so that we can make payments. The painter went into the XXXX XXXX house and painted while we were out of town - the bill totaled {$5500.00}. It was due XX/XX/XXXX. I had to reach out to the painter and explain that we were having a problem with the HELOC checks and could not pay him until it got resolved. In the meantime, my friend received a bill for her HELOC, and she reached out to us to pay that bill on XX/XX/XXXX. Also during this time, a spot was prepared on our lawn for our new hot tub and it was delivered. We received a bill for {$10000.00} to XXXX XXXX and {$2700.00} to XXXX XXXX for his services preparing the yard. These were both due XX/XX/XXXX. We wrote checks praying that this matter with our HELOC would be resolved, but it wasnt. The check to XXXXXXXX XXXX  bounced, and my husband reached out to them to explain that we were having issues with our HELOC checks. Luckily, we had the funds in our account to cover the other subcontractor. \nIn the few weeks, my husband has been on the phone with people from Shelllpoint and then he contacted XXXX directly, and the matter still has not been resolved. I found out XX/XX/XXXX that all of the checks except the last set have been cancelled. We have maxed out our credit card while we have been waiting on our funds totaling and a balance of {$10000.00}. \nThe amount of money we owe IN TOTAL as a result of this unresolved issue is {$66000.00}. That does not include the continued frustration we are dealing with and the ramifications affecting us and those around us who have helped support us through this process. \nI will be sending additional related copies pertaining to my complaint. \nLast Friday XX/XX/XXXX, I spent most of my work day on the phone with Shellpoint- a woman named XXXX XXXX or XXXX ) Rushing. She told me she activated a check that I already had in hand and that I could write the deposit for the remainder of the loan to myself - approximately {$90000.00}. I confirmed the check number, then drove to my local bank to make the deposit. She said Shellpoint could not overnight a check or write funds directly to me. I was told I would have to wait while my bank put a hold on the funds for 6 or more days. About half way through a big issue arose with a custom dental/ medical device the dentist provided. When the dentist was unable and then unwilling to do anything to remedy the matter I wasn\\'t sure if they would at least provide a quality final product. I started researching the issues and became increasingly certain I could NOT trust them to provide a final product of the quality they originally sold me. I also came to understand what the processes were for the portion of my treatment plan that had completed and quickly realized that the services I had been billed and paid for were not the services they actually provided.. At that point I contacted them to advise them that I would no longer be working with them and I would find another dentist to complete the job. At that point the only thing left to do was the final set of Partials and those mold impressions couldn\\'t be done for another 4 months while my mouth finished healing properly. After finding another dentist (XXXX XXXX) and made an appointment for a consultation so we could get the ball rolling. Once we did x-rays and an exam I was disappointed once again when I found out there was a portion of the work I paid XXXX for that had not been done at all and still needed to be done. I ended up having to pay for those services for a second time and having XXXX XXXX do them that day while we planned ahead for XX/XX/XXXX when we would start the process of getting the final dentures manufactured. I made considerable effort to work with XXXX XXXX to come to a mutually agreeable resolution that covered all the different pieces of this matter which was unsuccessful. I had no other options but to dispute the charges with my credit card company which they denied twice despite the fact I provided meticulous details and extensive documentation supporting my claim. The reasons for denying my claim given by Bank of America didnt seem to actually apply to my specific dispute as they never seemed to have a clear understanding of the situation with the Temporary partials being defective/ ill-fitting/ unusable and not a returnable device. They also didnt address the Finale Partials having not been manufactured/ provided at all. Nor did they seem to ever investigate my claims about the fraudulent billing or the work that had been done by and paid to a second dentist because they were not done by the first dentist. It doesn\\'t appear they addressed most of my issues with the dentist at all and they never appeared to provide any documentation to show the work had been done. It actually doesn\\'t even look like Bank of America even asked them about it. I can\\'t ever actually be allowed to speak to the investigator either by phone or email. It\\'s almost impossible to actually get anyone on the phone and I tried to visit a BOA in person but it appears they no longer have branches where you can walk in to work with an actual human being in person anymore. At least they no longer staff the 3 different branches I visited. It is my opinion that Bank of America did not conduct a \"Reasonable Investigation\" as is mandated by the Fair Credit Billing Act. If I understand the \"Claims and Defenses\" rules, under federal law (15 USC 1666i) I have the right to withhold payment for defective services or goods if I made a good faith effort to resolve the issue with the merchant first which I did. And that for services that were defective or not provided the card issuer stands in the shoes of the merchant if the purchase was over $XXXX and in my home state within 100 miles of my address allowing me to take the same legal actions against the issuer as I can take against the seller allowing me the option to sue the credit card issuer for the problem.\\n\\nThe following 2 timeline summaries are basically to provide the dates and amounts your website states should be included in the box provided for me to describe my complaint.\\nIn order to not go over the 50 pages/ 10MB limit you have for attachments,  I will only be sending a portion of the documents sent to BOA. Along with the information I\\'m providing here I will be attaching 4 sets of documents with 9 pages in each containing a more detailed claim statement along with only the most relevant information.\\n\\nDENTAL TIMELINE - \\nXX/XX/XXXX - Dental Consultation - New patient paperwork, x-rays, examination, treatment plan\\nXX/XX/XXXX - Initial Appointment - Paid full balance due  - $XXXX ($XXXX Bank of America credit card, $XXXX XXXX XXXX) - did cleaning (should have been SRP but was a simple polishing), fillings (should have been 4 but only 3 were done), molds for temporary partials\\nXX/XX/XXXX - 2nd Appointment - Extractions(Simple but I was billed and paid for XXXX), x-ray, delivered temporary partials after making adjustments twice\\nXX/XX/XXXX - Adjustments Made to Partials\\nXX/XX/XXXX - Adjustments Made to Partials\\nXX/XX/XXXX - Adjustments Made  to Partials - Dentist tried to do molds for Permanent Dentures - FOUR MONTHS EARLY but I refused asking for an appointment 2 weeks out \\n***RESEARCHING***\\nXX/XX/XXXX - Contacted Dentist to tell them to cancel the appt for XX/XX/XXXX because I would not be doing the Final set of dentures with them because I still could not wear the Temporary set due to their Ill Fit causing pain and I was unable to eat or talk while wearing them and that I no longer trusted them because they originally told me my mouth had to completely heal for 4 or 5 months before we made the final set of mold which aligns with the industry standard and then tried to rush them when they wanted to do them after just 4 weeks. I call my Daughter- XXXX XXXX XXXX and told her what was happening because she use to work for NFCU Headquarters in VA and that when she told me that the NFCU Fraud had sent her a text to her phone on XX/XX/XXXX the same day regarding a fraudulent payment of {$400.00}. My daughter indicated to me that she didnt put all together until we spoke just minutes after I hang the phone up with NFCU Fraud Representative. \n\nI went into NFCU at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX location on XX/XX/XXXX about estimate time XXXX : XXXX to discuss these issues with them. At first a NFCU Representative sit me down and I told her what happen yesterday and she pull up my account that showed ( 15 ) pending Fraudulent transaction on my account totaling {$7400.00} and I ask her to shut the account down and she told me she couldnt because the transactions was pending. \n\nRight now, I am about to BLOW my top despite having a XXXX XXXX XXXX and medical issues that could kill me RIGHT THEN. I ask for a Supervisor and Ms. XXXX XXXX came over to access the problem. She saw the same fraudulent items on my account and I asked Ms XXXX to shut the account down, and she told me that the ( my reference ) fraudulent debits were in pending status and she couldnt do it. I was extremely argue at this point short of taken my rage out on them because they sit their and allowed my money to be taken by these criminals and did nothing to stop this from happening before my eyes. I was short of TAKEN MATTER IN MY OWN HANDS ( dangerous ), but I had too cool down or have another XXXX of XXXX \n\nI ask Ms. XXXX again why not shut the account down or freeze all assets until and the criminal elements ( activity has passed ) or walk away with nothing or the theft locations ( see attachment ) where they were doing this fraud wouldnt continue. They still refused to shut the account down, I was and still outage that they didnt do more on that day XX/XX/XXXX to avoid this pain for me regarding my money as it interferers with my health. Ms. XXXX told me that transactions had to get out of pending status and them they would get to the bottom of it and assured me my money would be refunded. \n\nBy now my XXXX XXXX is boiling hot and I have to make my way to the VA XXXX XXXX XXXX that was schedule XX/XX/XXXX at the VA XXXX XXXX which is at XXXX VA XXXX. I went to my appointment with an unhealthy feeling. I would be taken directly to Emergency room if I didnt use the Doctors techniques and Gods blessing to get me to my appointment and home, despite later that day going to the emergency room at the VA XXXX XXXX and leaving they at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX the next morning. \n\nI went back to NFCU on XX/XX/XXXX and talk with Ms. XXXX again to get an update and she assure me that these issues would get resolved and she would aleast return the {$2800.00} to my saving account. That never happen instead they return {$1100.00} of the {$2800.00} out of {$7400.00}. This made me fairness and smoking mad. They made me feel like I was the criminal and this made me even angered me even more. But the automatic still went threw Wich at first was ok then my father in law passed away. And I didn't receive the notices saying my check didn't clear from my bank Wich at the time I was getting rid of because of all the extra charges in the first place .. anyway it was a difficult few weeks. But by the time I was contacted and told I needed to make a payment to my credit card I had no problem with thinking that I would pay off my XXXX $ all art once like I did every month and receive my credit and go pay my storage. We had refinanced back in XX/XX/XXXX, but XXXX said he could beat my current rate of 3.875 % with 3.375 % for a 30 year fixed rate. I asked how he was able to get such a low rate and if points were involved. He said no points and Princeton Mortgage likes to take care of XX/XX/XXXX XXXX. I also inquired about closing costs which he responded ( email dated XX/XX/XXXX ) {$990.00} plus appraisal and title. Only thing out of pocket is appraisal. I asked if we could use the appraisal from XX/XX/XXXX, but he said a new one would be required. \nWe continued to exchange emails and had many phone conversations. I asked multiple times what the principal and interest payment would be with the 3.375 % rate however, he would never respond with this information in an email. Rather he would call and verbally disclose numbers, but would always follow-up with that an exact amount would not be known until right before closing- everything quoted was an estimate. I also mentioned we had a rental property that was purchased at the height of the market and since has been under water in addition to a town wide reassessment. He said that we should proceed with both properties. Worst case the rental does not appraise, he would reimburse our credit card for the appraisal fee. He said, Ok I am going to save you a ton lol! XXXX agreed and explained that I could appeal the appraisal, which we did on XX/XX/XXXX. \nOn XX/XX/XXXX, I sent another email regarding the appeal and a follow-up email on XX/XX/XXXX, which upon he responded, Havent heard calling them now. ( Email dated XX/XX/XXXX ). I followed-up with XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX asking if the deal was dead and he replied, Deal not dead. Please give me some. I am trying to get done for you. ( Email dated XX/XX/XXXX ). We had a brief conversation on Thursday, XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX ET and he asked to call me back in 30 minutes. XXXX never called and I followed-up with an email on XX/XX/XXXX asking for an update and he replied he would call me that day. He never called and another follow-up email was sent on XX/XX/XXXX. He called and said that he did not respond because he was away on business and training new employees. I explained that I too work in the XXXX XXXX industry however ; his lack of communication and professionalism is unacceptable. If he did not have an answer or whatever the case may be, a simple reply would have been acceptable. \nAt this point, XXXX was still working on the numbers. I was starting to get suspicious as to why he did not have the numbers. Never before have I worked with a loan officer that could not provide me the principal and interest payment almost immediately. Please refer to XXXX email dated XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I followed up asking if he thinks he would have the numbers by Monday, XX/XX/XXXX and he said yes. On XX/XX/XXXX, he emailed me that refinancing XXXX would require me to bring $ XXXX closing. He offered to raise the interest rate on my primary to 3.5 % and give us {$6000.00} towards the investment property. As for the primary residence, the interest rate would be 3.375 fixed for 30 years. He ended his email by saying, The 10 year bond is lower today and I can possibly get you 3.25 will know that at XXXX ( email dated XX/XX/XXXX ). We spoke at XXXX and XXXX confirmed he locked us in at 3.25 % 30 year fixed. \nI replied that same day that we will proceed with the primary residence refinance and that we will revisit the rental property in 6 months. I asked if he needed my credit card to reimburse the {$500.00} appraisal fee. I ended my email by asking to please send the new mortgage payment including taxes escrowed ( email dated XX/XX/XXXX ). I never received a response, so I sent follow-up emails on XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX, XXXX. He finally replied on XX/XX/XXXX and followed-up by a phone call to go over the payments. He said that our payment including escrow would be {$3900.00} with P & I   {$2500.00}. I said that does not make any sense- why would I refinance to only save $ XXXX/mo. At this point, my level of concern hit an all-time high. We are scheduled to close in 4 days and he still can not give us a concrete monthly mortgage payment. I explained that this still does not make sense because I did my own due diligence- I was quoted 3.375 % 30 year fixed from another bank for a P & I payment of {$2500.00}. How is the one point higher rate {$23.00} less than his P & I payment? Again, he did not have an answer and asked to call me back so he could work on the numbers. He came back with a monthly payment including escrow of {$3900.00}. He also said he would give us a $ XXXX closing cost credit for all the aggravation. I just assumed this would reduce the money we would have to use for escrow since the closing costs he quoted in XXXX were minimal. \nOn XX/XX/XXXX, we received the electronic loan disclosures to prepare for our closing scheduled on Saturday, XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX. Upon reviewing, I was alarmed by the following : 1. The closing costs were {$21000.00} 2. The $ XXXX credit and {$550.00} appraisal reimbursement was missing 3. The monthly payment was {$3900.00} 4. Points were included in the rate I asked XXXX to advice and he said he would call me later that day. Upon leaving work, I still had not received a call back. I contacted XXXX XXXX who was the senior loan processor I had been working with throughout this process. I expressed my above concerns and told her to cancel the closing. I also requested for XXXX manager to call me and refund us the two appraisal fees ( {$470.00} and {$550.00} ) as we never would have proceeded with Princeton Mortgage if we knew points were being charged to obtain the lower rate. I also followed up with an email to XXXX dated XX/XX/XXXX. About 30 minutes later, I received a phone call from XXXX. He was aggressive, nasty and condescending. He implied that I was stupid and I was well aware of points all along. I explained that I work in XXXX  and he is just mad because I read the disclosures and figured out his scam. I told him he was unethical for not disclosing the points and charging over $ 21k   in closing costs. I said no one would ever consider doing something like this because it is financially not perceptive. Why would anyone want to add on an additional $ XXXX on his or her principal amount? He got quiet, apologized and said that he wanted to make it right. He said he would honor the rate with no points and would reduce the closing costs. I said you are too late- you are only doing this because you were caught. He asked me to think about it and said he would follow-up with me the next day ( he did not ). I ended the call with please have your supervisor call me. \nOn Thursday, XX/XX/XXXX, I received a call from XXXX XXXX who identified himself as XXXX manager. I explained what happened, requested the refund of appraisal fees and he asked that I send him copies of the email correspondence which I did on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX responded that he could reduce the fees by {$7400.00} with a monthly escrow payment of {$3900.00} ( email dated XX/XX/XXXX ). I replied to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX that my husband and I did not feel comfortable moving forward with Princeton Mortgage and to please refund the appraisal fees. XXXX never responded. \nOn Tuesday, XX/XX/XXXX, I received an email from XXXX XXXX ( NMLS # XXXX ), Sales Support, and Manager. I  immediately called him, as I was very confused to his role. He said that he was XXXX manager and XXXX XXXX was just his team member. I explained everything to XXXX. He was very empathetic and agreed this was a horrible experience. He offered to close the loan, he would be our direct contact and XXXX would be removed from the file. He said he would reduce closing costs, honor the rate with no points, and would only charge {$500.00} in commission because his branch manager would be livid if he knew what happened. He said you know we need to make something off this refi. He also said that XXXX started this partnership with my husbands nonprofit XXXX XXXX in late XXXX. He said it has brought in 25-30 closings/month from its members and it would be detrimental if we contacted them about our incident. He said we were the first complaint received. My response was, that is probably because I am the only person that took the time to read the disclosures before electronically signing off. He asked that I speak with my husband in hopes we would reconsider. I explained that he is not going to change his mind however, I will speak with him. I ended the conversation that in the meantime he should start speaking to his branch manager on the refund of the appraisals. He said that was going to be a sore subject because the appraisal company is a third party. I said that is not my problem. XXXX, Princeton Mortgage, you or all of you should make it right. Perhaps even if that means coming out of pocket for the pain and suffering we endured over the past few months. He said he would work on it. On Tuesday, XX/XX/XXXX, I sent a follow-up email to XXXX asking for an update. He replied almost instantly and I responded a few minutes later- please reference email dated XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX for complete details. I received a response late afternoon, which included his National Sales Director, XXXX XXXX. He said, After going thru the loans in detail and speaking with everyone involved it has been determined that due to your house under appraising the loans didnt make as much sense as once thought. Since you were a XXXX member, we made an additional pricing concession on the primary loan to make it make sense for you and your Husband. You decided to not move forward and unfortunately, we will not be able to refund the cost of the appraisals. As a company, we did what was necessary to make it right by you people. I am sorry it had to end this way and wish you the best of luck. I have CCd our National Sales Director, XXXX XXXX on this email as he is aware of the situation. ( Email dated XX/XX/XXXX ). I responded stating that XXXX was unethical with his lack of communicating points were being used to obtain the rate and also was negligence on not disclosing the closing costs which were upwards of $ 21k. We disputed the appraisal and XXXX never mentioned that Princeton Mortgage was making an exception. It was our understanding the appraisal dispute was approved. I also included copies of the emails for their reference. Please refer to email dated XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX. \nTo date, we have not received a response. Well This was a big mistake because this can take up to seven days to cancel out if needed and the automatic bill still gets sent threw. But if you happen to need to cancel it as I had to Kno choice given the sercum stance so i can use what little money you have to still pay in order to still receive the credit in time to pay off a storage unit I had to save it from being auctioned off..might not work out and all the payment previous didn't seem to mater I cancelled and was Abel to pay and save my storage. But the automatic still went threw Wich at first was ok then my father in law passed away. And I didn't receive the notices saying my check didn't clear from my bank Wich at the time I was getting rid of because of all the extra charges and overdraftbn the first place .. anyway it was a difficult few weeks. But by the time I was contacted and told I needed to make a payment to my credit card I was told I had to pay with so I would pay off my XXXX $ all at once like I did every month and receive my credit and go pay my storage. I payed the creditor and ask when my credit would be available and I was then told my account was closed due to failure to pay even tho every month I payed off my whole credit bill I used every month in full XXXX giving no regards to this as well as no credit towards looking reliable to make payments to the credit agintcy..
