At some point in XXXX 2015, my account was victim of fraudulent charges, after which I had to be issued a new card. Upon discovering one the charges ( by XXXX XXXX ), I immediately called the merchant to inform them of that charge ( Ref # XXXX, {$2500.00} ). I also contacted Citibank regarding the fraudulent charge. Citibank promised to investigate the matter but did not readily credit the disputed amount. Given the exorbitant amount of the charge and the fact that I was unsure if the money would be credited back by Citibank, I tried to resolve the matter with the merchant, which took a lot of time and effort. The merchant eventually agreed to issue a courtesy credit of {$300.00} for the pain and suffering that the fraudulent charge had caused me, as well as the amount of time I had spent trying to resolve the issue. Eventually, Citibank also issued a credit on my account for the original amount of the fraudulent charge. On XXXX/XXXX/15, the abovementioned credit of {$300.00} was posted to my account. However, the credit was later reversed on or about XXXX/XXXX/15. When I called Citibank to inquire about why this credit had been reversed, I was informed that the credit had been reversed because I had been given a double credit for the same charge. \nI dispute the fact that I was given a double credit for the same charge. The credit of {$300.00} was specifically issued by the merchant on a voluntary basis, and as a courtesy to compensate me for pain and suffering due to the fraudulent charge and the time spent to try and resolve the issue, while the credit issued by Citibank was for the charge itself. I believe this credit of {$300.00} should either be put back on my account or returned to the merchant, and in no way should be kept by Citibank, as it was specifically issued to me by the merchant and for the specific reasons mentioned above. '' Webster bank claims this conversation never happened. It did. \n\nWebster bank claims this this will be the final time we discuss this issue. But, we will continue to discuss this issue until it is resolved. \n\nWebster bank has previously admitted to their online banking being inaccurate, and that they should refund any fees that result from these inaccuracies. This was on the record at one point, who knows what they did with it now. But it was, a 100 % fact, in that phone call from 2017. If this was not true, webster bank would have no issue sharing these phone calls. But they refuse to share the phone call, there is only one possible explanation for this, because they know the truth. If there was nothing to hide, they would have no problem sharing these phone calls. \n\nI want to advise Webster bank at this point that they absolutely will not dictate when this discussion is over, and this discussion will continue until I am compensated. If it is not resolved with this complaint, I will continue to escalate this issue outside of the CFPB, and am open to looking into legal action to get compensated for my wasted time and distress. I will also seek whatever penalties possible to get Webster bank punished for lying on a report to a federal agency. \n\nThis issue is very straight forward. Webster bank is on the record stating that their online banking is inaccurate and that they would refund fees because of these issues. I have accumulated many fees since then that have not been compensated. They must be compensated, in full, immediately. \n\nIf there is nothing to hide in the phone call, and I am making all this up, then share the phone call, and prove me wrong. \n\nIf you think I have been a pain in the XXXX so far, keep pushing me, and see what happens. I will continue until this is resolved through every agency and means possible. I may be a pain in the XXXX, but at least I'm not a liar. I am not opposed to contacting the state banking commission, the federal banking commission, the attorney general, the news, or whoever else is needed, for as long as it takes, to get this resolved. \n\nWebster bank suggested I should close the account, which will happen as soon as I am compensated. The account is only open now so they have somewhere to deposit the money when this issue is resolved. As soon as that happens I will withdrawal the money and close the account. And I demand to be compensated in full, I will not entertain any settlement offers. \n\nJust do the right thing, stop lying, stop being greedy, stick to your word, and compensate me for fees that were only given because of your terrible online banking. Perhaps you should listen to the phone calls again, listen to different phone calls until you see what I am talking about..or, the simplest solution, just stop lying, and do the right thing. \n\nI would also like a formal written apology on company letterhead, acknowledging how you have lied and apologizing for wasting so much of my time. At this point, I want PennyMac to sell my loan to a company that will fairly credit my payments in a timely manner as required by law. I have never had a late mortgage payment and it is a pain in the neck to have to take extra measures to be able to prove that I mailed in my mortgage payment on time every month. \nOn this occasion, PennyMac did not credit my payment to my account until 12 days after I mailed it, then they charged a late fee to my account. When I asked the customer service representative why they did not credit my account in a timely fashion, she said the same thing that they said 2 years ago : We had bad weather across the country and it held up the mail. She even said that they had trouble getting to their lockbox even though it is in XXXX, Texas. \nThe bottom line is that this is the second time that I have submitted a formal complaint to CFPB about this practice at PennyMac. It is a heavy burden to write a large check every month for my mortgage and not know whether I will receive the credit that I am supposed to receive under law. At this point, it is clear that this is not an isolated incident with PennyMac. I will enclose an official Certificate of Mailing from the U.S. Postal Service showing that I mailed my payment on XXXX XXXX, XXXX, as I previously stated. \nIt is completely unreasonable that PennyMac credited my payment a full 12 days after I mailed it. Whenever I have sent my payment using Certified Mail, it usually arrives at PennyMac in 3 days. Occasionally, it takes 4 days but never more than that. No corrective action was taken, and my account was closed with a negative balance Issue 3 : Throughout XXXX and XXXX, on more than three occasions, PNC Bank withheld funds from checks paid to me, in violation of Federal Reserve regulations that stipulate a bank must release the funds of a payable check within 48 hours. Some of these holds lasted more than seven days. They claimed they received the documents and will work with the CR Team. \n\nAfter everything by Goodwill letter was denied and also by CR remained unchanged. When I spoke to a representative they stated they reported my account again on XX/XX/XXXX. \n\nSee, someone trained in this CR Department would know if the account was deleted, even when reported, would not populate, therefore the account would have to be reinserted for the reporting to populate. I filed a police report and FBI report. \n\nXX/XX/XXXX - A credit of {$1700.00} appeared in my account that was affected by fraud. It 's clear in black in white that the statement they 've added is even gone so far as to be in third person. Saying \" consumer disputes this information ''. What concerns me the most is that they 've added this statement to an account in good standing, in which I 've never had any issues with. This left me with {$190000.00} sitting in my Citibank account. \nTo my surprise, on XX/XX/2022, I received written notice that my account was being terminated by Citibank and that all funds would be returned to me within XXXX business days. Despite making numerous calls to Citibank and speaking with different agents about why this occurred, I was given conflicting information each time, causing further confusion and concern. \nOne agent falsely claimed that the Citibank couldnt verify the transfer and had returned my {$190000.00} money to my XXXX account. Another agent claimed that the transferred funds were not under the same name as my Citibank account, so Citibank never accepted the money from the ACH transfer in the first place, which was also untrue. A third agent informed me that my account was under investigation by a third party, which was a surprising development. A fourth agent told me that I would not receive my {$190000.00} back. After the 60 business day mark passed, I still heard nothing and it was only when I called again that an agent told me they would escalate the issue. Despite this, I have still not heard any further updates from Citibank and my money has been frozen by the bank for almost XXXX months at this point. To date, the only confirmation I have received that Citibank even still possesses my money ( despite what customer service agents told me ), is through a Form 1099 that I received from Citibank in the last few weeks with interest income paid to me from my savings account. \nI have also discovered that I am not the only person who has faced such issues with Citibank this is a pervasive issue. After I filed my complaint XXXX  sent me a letter stating that they had removed the Bankruptcy off my credit. I was really relieved considering at the time I was in the middle of closing on some rental property and had to take a big financial lose because of what had just inspired with my credit taking a major hit which caused me a lot of stress and some miner physical pain. So now both XXXX  and XXXX   was showing my credit report correctly and I just knew TransUnion would follow suite , but they did just the opposite. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter from Transunion stating that on the date of XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX they had did an investigation into Texas Federal Court XXXX and at that time when they did investigation they had verified the account. So they went on to say that they would reopen the case and do an new investigation into the matter and send me out a letter once its been done with the new results. XX/XX/XXXX is the last I've herd from Transunion. From my understanding they have 30-45 days to do an investigation and send out the results or they must remove the item off the consumer report. I have yet to receive anything but yet they are still reporting this on my credit which is a violation of FCRA. Transunion is also in violation for not sending out a letter with in 5 days of reinserting a deleted item. I don't understand why Transunion claimed they did investigation back in XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX because its irrelevant considering it was deleted anyways back then for the violation that i noted. But from my true understanding section 609 protects me against false reporting and i would like to point out that this exactly what this is. TransUnion is the only bureau reporting this on my credit and have yet to explain why or show any prove. technical people they said they literally set all the connections and that I would get a better speed of Internet service it would take between 12 and 24 hours I waited 24 hours at that point had no service whatsoever non-it was not functioning I call them back they told me to go and get a new Sim card went to the XXXX store in XXXX Pennsylvania and they gave me a new Sim card at no charge I went home and connected it there was still no connection I called back this technical people they told me they had a reset the connections 24 hours later there was no service whatsoever I called in and request a refund and to cancel the service they told me to contact my credit card company and request the chargeback and they would not contest I did that on XXXX XXXX so far they had sent me no receipt whatsoever they sent me numerous emails to my email would no receipt no invoice I contacted my credit card company and told him exactly what transpired they put in the dispute XXXX answer them She assured me that I wouldn't have to relive this over and over and thinks this would be the best step to take. I said ok and we hung up I felt like she genuinely cared about me and would handle this properly and I would hear from her soon. I never did. I called her number over and over again leaving message after message and never got any kind of response. I then reached out to the claims department and I had no idea how much worse this could have gotten for me until I went through it. I was passed from XXXX department to the next having to tell my story over and over again to total strangers only to have the next person say no notes were written and they would start talking about all the wrong things Nobody seemed to know why XXXX had even reopened this claim and nobody seemed to know what a dependent adult was. It's been awful. At XXXX point I was told that the XXXX claim was approved and waiting to get signed off on and I was so relieved but XXXX days later I found out it was denied for the same reasons as before and I would just breakdown in tears because the claim wasn't about that It was about the fact that I was fully transparent with the bank when I opened the account and told them I was a XXXX dependent adult and alone and to please pay special attention to my account because I had no one helping me. They assured me they would but less than XXXX weeks later I'd lost everything and had absolutely nothing to show for it. I was pretty much locked up in a room watching XXXX movies with my cats the entire XXXX months with strangers coming in and out of my room taking care of me I thought but thousands was being taken everyday from my account. My previous complaints says what happened to me after that So now it's been months of this and I regret not just getting an attorney from the beginning but I really felt like XXXX was very sympathetic and understanding and would take care of this and make it right I still haven't heard from her or anyone else except the initial call that comes after a complaint is filed. Since this began I have been placed on XXXX hour protective supervision by XXXX and rely on my caregiver to take care of me so I'm never homeless again I was also hit by a car going about XXXX mph while crossing a crosswalk and I have some pretty serious injuries as a result. I am waiting for the bank to give their response and to be honest I'm expecting the same thing as before and then at that point I will retain an attorney and let them take over. I'm really angry the bank hasn't just followed the laws in place and held them selves accountable and apologized to me for not stepping up and making a report that could have changed everything and they should give me all the funds I lost as a result because that's what the law says. My own money?? ) .I asked for a phone number to call to resolve the issue, he again refused any help. I went to thee ATM machine outside and it wouldn't let me access my funds, but was at least kind enough to give me a number to call. I talked to someone at customer service and they said they there were no holds and shouldn't be any issue now. So my husband and I drove XXXX hours out of state for the vehicle. We stopped to get gas and eat a couple hours in. We got turned away in line for food. Declined card. I was embarrassed and hungry, no gas, stranded in another state. I get back on the phone with Wells Fargo, they said im good to go card is back on, should be no problem. This happened again next time we stopped. Back on the phone, card good, no holds. We make it an XXXX  outside of our destination and same thing. So I get on the phone with Wells Fargo AGAIN! My husband called the man selling vehicle. He agreed to drive an XXXX  to us to make the deal because we had no gas and these phone calls are long. Get card back on, had to pay for hotel because its late now due to Wells Fargo, ( no change of clothes, no medication, not even a toothbrush ). Man arrives and we try to XXXX  him, no luck! We go to the ATM a few miles away, but no access to funds. Called Wells Fargo again!!! They say the SAME THING! NO HOLDS, no reason I should be able to access funds. This process continues XXXX more times until after XXXX. Man leaves to go back home, told us to get with him if we can figure out our finances! Embarrassed again! First thing in the XXXX on XXXX XXXX, my husband and myself went into a main branch and talked to the manager. She gave me the {$4000.00} that I had initially requested the day before. I told her of the events, and she told me to report that manager because he \" Definitely Discriminated Against You Both '', ( My husband accompanied me to local branch the day prior ). I called my local branch to see if they had a phone number for the complaints department. The manager answered the phone. He was so sweet to me being that he couldnt see who he was talking to. I have called and reported twice, had my case closed twice. Was told by complaints department that it would be taken care of internally. His discipline is on Wells Fargo, BUT my pain and suffering is also ON WELLS FARGO! She sent me a {$50.00} customer appreciation check.i told her that wouldnt even cover hotel, she said to send hotel reciept, which was {$100.00}. She sent me another check for {$56.00}! So she took away my customer appreciation check and put it toward their mess up! She closed my case anyways. We'll I reported her as well. I was told she is the only person I can talk to about this complaint- EVEN AFTER I REPORTED HER!!!! Then I asked to speak to her manager and was told that was impossible, pushing hard they finally agreed to have him call me. He called XXXX XXXX around XXXX. My cheek had accidentally hung up the phone while we were talking, he immediately called me back. We talked, I stated how I was going to push this until someone takes me seriously.
