The new model shows excellent for on time payments ( a strong impact on your credit score ), excellent on oldest credit line, average on credit used, average on New Accounts, XXXX on Available Credit, and XXXX XXXX on recent inquiries which has a low impact on a credit score. I can not figure out how I can have a below average score with average to excellent scores on XXXX factors and XXXX below average on a factor that has low impact on a credit score. \nI contacted TransUnion for clarification and was told 'the computer calculates the score ' so there is nothing that can be done. i tried to explain the computer can only do this, if there is a human creating the parameters for the computer to make the calculations. The computer can not make decisions on its own but must be told how to make the calculations. I asked for a manager to call me back so I could discuss this. After a week of waiting for a call, no one has called me back. This type of error costs the consumers a lot of money from increased interest and or points on loans. In addition this XXXX XXXX product is pushing the consumer to pay for a credit monitoring service. If the credit scores were calculated appropriately many people would not need credit monitoring services. \nI need someone to look into this credit score calculation.
