We sent them the attached email to request that they remove the late payments on our records but they have not replied. \nWe would like Ocwen to restore our mortgage to its scheduled amount and remove any other fees that do not apply. Recently, I called willing to pay off the total balance owed and still received the same response. I was also advised there is a closure date on my account and charge off date for not making payments timely. I take responsibility for that. The issue I am having is that Discover cant provide me a date when I can have my charging privileges restored, but they want me to keep making payments. I have spoken to people who work directly for Discover, and I have seen the physical policy and feel its a deceptive policy. Discover is giving the hopes of their customers to get their prices restored but never intended to restore privileges. They are giving false hopes and expect people to pay these balances, and then their misleading policy says we will review other accounts to see if we can have our card back on. I feel this is a bait and switch ; we will never turn your card back on regardless of whether the payments are made on time again, and the balances are low. Based on my training, this seems to me like a deceptive act to get money but never provide the services that are promised. We may restore services, and if they have no intentions of restoring services, they should disclose this to customers. Thus, my son would come to my house open my mail and proceed to pay my bills. \nThe problem emerged with my Citicard credit card when this credit card company changed-without my permission or knowledge- the billing format from paper to paperless. \nUnbeknownst to my son there were 2 payments that were not payed due to the credit card company 's illegal decision to make the change from paper to paperless. \nWhile I was XXXX- I had no access to my Citibank credit card internet account, and my son ( nobody else for that matter ) had NO access to my password to this account.. Therefore it is impossible that we would change the format of billing. \nWhen I got back home to the states, I checked my e-mail and realized what had taken place. I immediately called Citicard and began a chat with one of their agents who admitted that Citicard had changed their form of billing. I also requested that they reverse the late charge fees, as they immediately received my complete payment. They did reverse the late charge, and they received my complete payment. \nDays after I thought that this situation was resolved, since they reversed the late charges and seemingly understood what had taken place, I receive a letter ( copy attached ) stating that due to the 2 late payments, Citibank is decreasing my credit limit. \nI called Citibank as a result of this letter, and after reaching an agent who ca n't help me with this situation, I am assured that a superviso was not available and would call me within 24 to 48 hours. No supervisor from Citicard has called yet. A week has transpired since they promise they would call me back. \nNot only they have decreased my credit limit, they said that they have reported the late payments to the credit reporting agencies. My FICO score has been in the XXXX or higher for years. \nMy desired resolution is that Citicard : 1. Restores my credit limit 2. In that time frame from the closing date of the XXXX or XXXX of the month I had my credit limit reduced by {$750.00} because I was late with one payment. \nI'm usually on top of my bills and try to pay more than is requested and pay before the due date. \nHowever the past few months have been trying and though I didn't tell Synchrony Bank, which has done this to other accounts I have just reduce the credit limit either because I was late or I don't know why. \nMy mother had to be rushed into XXXX for a XXXX due to a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. So my mind was someplace else. \nI don't remember getting a letter but if I did, it never comes out and says we reduced your credit limit because you missed a payment. \nI talked to 2 people today XX/XX/2021 at Synchrony Bank, one was a telephone rep and the other was an account manager or specialist. My call was recorded so I would suggest you request the call tapes for today XX/XX/2021. \nI called Synchrony bank at the phone number on the back of my XXXX. The number is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, it was placed at XXXX XXXX  PST and lasted for 10:31 Minutes. \nThe account manager or account specialist stated that the reason my credit limit was decreased was because I missed the XXXX payment, and because I was charged a {$35.00} late fee. \nIf I wanted to have the credit limit restored I would have to give my financial information again and though I'm almost perfect in meeting my due dates for payment I have been late and been assessed late charges, so I feel I wouldn't be given a fair shot at having my credit limit restored.
