The representative specifically said that XXXX has control over the reporting and there is nothing they can do. ( even if I provide evidence to them ) Credit Bureau Experian insists on retaining incorrect balance information even with no response from back from XXXX/XXXX. This is not the only account that was closed... the XXXX account credit amount was drastically decreased and next the account was closed, I was only a few days, not XXXX or 30 days late, all due to my pay hadn't deposited into my account. As soon as I was paid, I paid the account and it was still in good standing. The XXXX XXXX account was closed, due to returned payment, again waiting on my deposit, that account is still in good standing. I request an investigation into XXXX 's credit practice, due to the fact this is a common thing that is done with consumers that have credit with them. They'll grant credit and then a few months later, the amount of credit is lessened and next the accounts are closed. So now you're stuck paying them back after they have already taken the money you paid into the credit and you have to keep paying them. I did write an email when it happened the first time, to not access my credit report. They stated the credits were released on their end. Citibank continues to insist that no refund was ever received. I am stuck between the merchant and Citibank with no results and no effort from Citibank to locate the missing amounts. \n\nCitibank did not trace the refund numbers. They did not request the acquirer reference numbers. They did not review settlement activity. They simply repeated that no refund was visible without investigating the missing funds or contacting the merchant processor. \n\nThese amounts should have been returned to my account or the holds should have been released. Instead the money has disappeared and I am being told to deal with the merchant even though Citibank is the financial institution responsible for posting refunds and handling disputes. \n\nI am requesting a full investigation. I need Citibank to locate the missing funds, verify settlement activity for both refunds, and credit the amounts that never returned to my account. In complaint # 's, XXXX, and XXXX I compiled statements and facual based evidence of Equifax purposefully, willfully and recklessly reporting false information, even after being notified multiple times of the factual based reporting errors, yet failed to investigate, or re-investigate, and/or correct the problem or remove the account. In this particular complaint, I submitted and online dispute in reference to an account that reflects incorrect late payments. I requested in the comments to have the furnisher, XXXX XXXX conduct an investigation into the falsified late payments. I requested from Equifax through their website a bank statement, a billing statement, and any documents or any contracts bearing my signature of loan authorization. XXXX XXXX had a data breach in 2017 causing multiple inaccuracies to be reported to consumer credit files in which they never updated or corrected. Equifax did absolutely nothing at all. Equifax did not even reach out to the furnisher or conduct any research into the dispute whatsoever. In fact, after I submitted the dispute, 30 mins later, sent back a response through their website stating in context that the payment history is 100 % accurate and nothing is going to be done more at this point ; thus making it beyond obvious that no research was conducted at all. They never reached out to the furnisher to submit my dispute and used subjectivity and made false biased claims. XXXX XXXX has over 6.5 million customers, how would could a lender that large answer a consumer dispute in XXXX mins? This is just getting flat-out ridiculous. These people are making a complete charade out of my life. CFPB, what are you here for? How can you let these agencies get away with these atrocious financial crimes? Your primary function is to spot discriminatory patterns and biases, a make concerted efforts stop these types of agency 's from discriminating and help foster a more fair financial marketplace. When you see these types of events happening multiple times, ( which is in my case ) it is right in line with what your duties are. If you reference the aforementioned complaints about Equifax, you will be able to identify the obvious pattern of consumer abuse. They completely ignored the fraud case I reported to them and simply closed the negative balanced account which also had multiple charges created by them to the account. Keybank did close my checking however they did not close my savings account which I was still using until I could find a new bank to use, however, Keybank reported me to the checksum banking credit company making up lies and now making it difficult to even get any type of bank account now due to there lying and miss use of power. I called the customer service department on XX/XX/2023 and was to that Keybank went ahead and changed the release date now to XX/XX/2023 and that my account was now in the negatives due to them releasing only {$100.00} dollars when in fact they by law are supposed to release {$200.00} the next business day. How ever Keybank took back the {$100.00} and now had my savings account in the negative {$80.00} plus- {$20.00} times three days which brought it negative to {$140.00} now due to there fees. I spoke to customer service and they said Keybank changed the date because they now wanted to verify the funds on the check. I said cant you just make a phone call to the issuing bank and verify it like that. I was told yes that could be done but she could not do it and it had to be done at the branch. Next day I went to branch and asked them the same questions and was rudly yelled at and treated horrible when I wanted to know why they could not verify funds over the phone and why they put this lock and date change to my account. There was also negotiations that took place to repair a significant foundation crack located around the garage area of the home. I negotiated the repair with the seller 's agent and the price of the home was reduced in lieu of the cost of the repair which was over XXXX. The company did not make the repair even though they knew we were in an agreement to rent with right to purchase at the time. This was dishonest on their part as well. They ended up with XXXX more than they should have received and stuck the would be purchaser with the cost of getting this fixed. I also spoke with the Chase branch XXXX, who confirmed that this type of malfunction does happen and even provided me with the ATM serial number to share with customer service to assist in expediting the claim. Unfortunately, when I contacted Chase customer care again on XX/XX/year>, I was told once more that no funds were found. \n\nThis experience has been extremely frustrating and disheartening. The {$1200.00} represents almost my entire paycheck, and losing access to it has caused significant financial hardship. She explained that my payments would be {$860.00} a month, my due date would be on the XXXX of every month, and I only had to pay {$11000.00} ( this amount included the XXXX owed and fees and interest ). But on the second page of the contract, it states we would be done paying {$10.00}, XXXX once the total amount of payments were done. Let me add, NO ONE went over the contract with us either. \n\nWe made the payments of {$860.00} on time but started noticing our payment date would move. I questioned why the date was moving and not the XXXX of every month as promised and they told me well that is how the system is set up to charge every 30 days. I was confused because I was told my payment was due on the XXXX of every month. At this time, I had paid about XXXX payments so I asked how much I owed on the bill. She told me {$10000.00}. I was HIGHLY UPSET. How is that when I have been making payments of {$860.00}? The young lady I was speaking to stated \" Well, you have to pay more for the amount to go down. '' I was stunned because NO ONE told me I had to pay more for the payment of the loan to go down. I should have reported them at that time but I decided to start paying more so I started paying {$1000.00} instead of the {$860.00}. I started noticing on the receipts that they would mail out every now and then ( because I never received a receipt every month ) that the balance would only go down by {$20.00} or {$30.00}. In the contract, it will state that there is a grace period after the maturity date. Also, there is supposed to be a chart on this contract that states if they take possession of our vehicle what we would have to pay back. There is no chart so I am guessing they make that amount up out of thin air whenever that happens. My credit was ruined because I had taken a major loss with my truck being down. I had to rent a truck while my truck was in the shop and it cost me {$900.00} a week. We are stuck in this contract with Auto Money where I have paid $ XXXX towards this loan and was told today on XX/XX/XXXX that I still owe {$10000.00} on this loan. It is obvious I am paying on the loan or I wouldn't have my truck. I honestly want this place investigated for its loan practices. I even looked at my contract and there is nothing stating my payment date would change or that I had to pay more for me to pay the loan off. This is a ripoff. All this spending is very out of context with my normal spending habits. \n\nThese transactions were very rapid and scream fraud. Purchases were made at XXXX also. This was all done in the time frame of XXXX-XXXX. I immediately phoned Chase at XXXX and my other banks to report the fraud and cancel the cards. I was shocked to also witness my other banks ( XXXX XXXX and XXXX ), had stopped multiple transactions from going through, while with Chase, the criminals just continued to spend and spend. All 3 of my cards have the same PIN. Calling Chase, the guy on the phone said don't worry we got you covered and will refund the money within 12 hours. This instilled a false sense of confidence within me. \n\nThe following day I filed a police report with the XXXX Police Dept for lost property. A week later I call chase to check the status of the investigation ( XX/XX/XXXX ). They say the claim has been denied since the perpetrator managed to use my PIN. Even with a police report, they didn't want to hear my story. They said an external investigation will be needed. \nI called back the following Tuesday, to have them explain their decision. They said the perpetrator perfectly used my PIN. They agreed to re-open the investigation. The lady on the phone told me I could get timestamps for the transactions only through statements. Lo and behold even going into the branch, and asking for statements, timestamps are not provided. I called later that week and finally got the timestamps for the transactions. A lot of inconsistencies and false information made this situation even worse. \n\nAs this reinvestigation was ongoing, I called the police to tell them of this additional information I have ( Statements with timestamps ). The cop told me I need to file a finanicial crimes report separate from the initial lost property report. So I filed that and then waited a few days to contact a detective. They told me that Chase would need to reach out to them in order to open an investigation ( check for footage of stores where transactions were made ), he said theres nothing we can do to help you with, without Chase 's intervention. He also mentioned that Chase is one of the worst to deal with when it comes to fraud and thats why he never does banking with them. I called Chase and added this new police report to the claim. \n\nTo make matters worse, Chase abruptly closed my account for suspicious activity ( the fraud ). This put me in a further predicament as I had just received a direct deposit from work ( XX/XX/XXXX ), but it didn't go through and they said I needed to contact my employer and have them reroute the deposit to another account since this account is being closed. But then a few days later the deposit, appeared in the account! I call back and they say the accounts frozen. So now my money is stuck in the account and I have to wait for them to send me a cheque in 10 days! I can't even write myself a cheque so I can deposit it at my other bank. \nNot only am I broke from the fraud but they also withhold my money, how am I supposed to pay for my expenses now. \n\nI just find it remarkable that my other Financial institutions had fail-safes in place while Chase did not. This company needs to show the damages they claim were done, ( pictures ), not just a bogus list. This reporting looks like we owe rent and we do not. I have emails showing that upon moving in, we had to hire an exterminator to treat the home for fleas and paid out of pocket. I can also prove that my husband installed sink stopers, repaired a ceiling fan and a piece of rotten board on the back deck per the request of THEIR MAINTENANCE crew member, in exchange for compensation, when the home was purchased by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. There was also negotiations that took place to repair a significant foundation crack located around the garage area of the home. I negotiated the repair with the seller 's agent and the price of the home was reduced in lieu of the cost of the repair which was over XXXX. The company did not make the repair even though they knew we were in an agreement to rent with right to purchase at the time. This was dishonest on their part as well. They ended up with XXXX more than they should have received and stuck the would be purchaser with the cost of getting this fixed. \nThey instructed that we leave the keys upon vacating the property and offered no walk through. I have photos, the original inspection report and a video where I can prove no damages and that we do not owe them the money they have falsely put on our report. The credit bureaus have done nothing to investigate this although I have provided documentation to support my claim. The photos that they have on XXXX when advertising the property for rent look the same as the inspection report and when we moved out.
