No written consent was ever granted to release or report these records, and such disclosures represent serious breaches of federal privacy protections. \n\nFurthermore, Equifax is reporting hard inquiries from several institutionssuch as XXXX, XXXX, and XXXXthat were not authorized by me, nor were they initiated by any credit application or business transaction. These inquiries violate 15 U.S.C. 1681b, which governs permissible access to consumer reports.
