My loan was suppose to be for {$21000.00}, now it's showing an amount of {$47000.00} which is affecting me financially and health wise, it's literally making me sick. I was told I would have no electric bill, Not true. I was told my property value would increase, Not true. Warranty was 25 years, not true. Many other things were mislead and omitted just to make the sale. At end of the XXXX  call I was sent a square box by the XXXX, XXXX representative for my signature, saying I understood the meeting. Unknown to me, a XXXX, XXXX contract was generated and emailed, which I never read nor reviewed prior to signing on that squared box because they never show you a contract. To my surprise another contract appeared months later from Sunnova that I'm 100 % sure I did not sign. The signature is way different. I don't signed that way. I called XXXX and opened up a case. XXXX sent me the IP address/network/information of where that document came from and I had an IT department compare it to my home. The Sunnova document was not signed by me. Many are having the same problem. These documents are fraudulent. They are being signed by the representative themselves. I've reached out to Sunnova which told me the representative is contracted by Sunnova. The representative never disclosed that. He said he works for XXXX, XXXX. I'm still waiting for Sunnova to answer me on who signed the document. They lied about the payment saying I would pay {$100.00} a month for 25 yrs but after a yr or so it went up to {$140.00}. They also said I would not have a bill from my electric company again which also was not true. And the rebate, I was not working the past three yrs and said I would get I think it was like {$12000.00} or so back and of course never got that back nor because I didn't work for three yrs there was no write off. I have called, emailed them over 60-75 times with no response back as I now need a new roof and they will not call me back or take my calls and I can not get anyone to respond. I have talked to people in The XXXX a couple dozen times and I get the exact same response that they will escalate this which it already has been 4 months ago and again, no calls back. XXXX XXXX XXXX can not take it because Sunnova has some sort of deal where they can not represent me since I would have to come up with {$12000.00} to initiate a lawsuit. I am soooooo sad, frustrated, mad and can not afford to do anything. The financing contract that I had with Sunnova for the generator was for XXXX percent interest for 18 months. My final payment was made on XX/XX/XXXX and the payment was processed on XX/XX/XXXX. I contacted Sunnova customer service via email requesting that the XXXX filing be terminated from my property. The response that I received from XXXX XXXX, a customer service representative, was that the XXXX would be automatically removed. I informed XXXX that it was ironic that the filing was characterized as a lien when another Sunnova representative said that it was not. As of this date, Sunnova has not terminated the lien against my property that was filed in XX/XX/XXXX for their supposed security interest with respect to the generator and associated equipment that were not identified. They did not want to reply to much via email, but several phone calls including XXXX XXXX who did not disclose that he was at all an owner or had any stake in XXXX  XXXX other than that he was a site manager, purposely misleading me that he would assist resolve the situation with the installation hardware. One of their electricians and XXXX XXXX later had a conference call with me, assuring me that all components of the install. I recorded the call, later finding out a lot of discrepancies in their opinions and several false sets of information related to the technical and electrical aspects of our discussion, I am not an electrician.\n\nThey assumed that the hardware is correct and will operate correctly. Suddenly they came back and started to finish the installation two weeks later but did not change out the components and finished the installation with the wrong incorrect parts \" XXXX amp disconnects ''.\n\nSince this installation was completed, system activated, there were several times the system has malfunctioned. XXXX XXXX eventually had come out to make repairs/fixes and re-enable the system. \nSunnova suddenly started emailing a late bill to my email address showing past due balances unpaid.\n\nSunnova had never previously XX/XX/XXXX responded back to my initial complaint about the installer XXXX  XXXX, prior to activating the {$99000.00} loan to me. \nThis system rated by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX own electricians/engineers produces a maximum of XXXX amps of power transfer, which would have easily been under the XXXX existing transfer line. XXXX XXXX either mis-calculated the capacities and electrical specifications required, OR after they reduced the size of the XXXX system to XXXX, never made another calculation for the power transfer, and thus still forced the transfer line installation when it was no longer required. This additional line probably cost us XXXX XXXX XXXX in additional installation costs as even the original sales consultant for XXXX XXXX said it was going to add at least {$10000.00} in additional supplies cost plus all the installation/trenching labor. \nIn the end, the line wasnt needed, we cant expand the panel system to the XXXX size at any future date, once XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX upgrades the transformer at the road, cant tie into the detached garage building the panels were installed on and installed far cheaper components for the power transfer line than specified on the documentation and permits.\n\nThe amount of loss involved in this complaint : {$99000.00} {$25000.00} of this is estimated to be related to the transfer line installation, we would need a licensed electrician to confirm that the existing XXXX underground line is sufficient to carry the XXXX maximum load of the actual installed solar panel system, and to confirm that the wrong/cheaper components were used. \nXXXX XXXX electrician at one point said that XXXX disconnects were not even available for purchase, which we later found out was not true. The Installed components are XXXX XXXX XXXX  and the correct parts would be XXXX XXXX XXXX, there are THREE of these parts, instead of changing the parts before the installation was completed, they decided they were not going to and finished anyway. \nOriginal XXXX system was downsized to XXXX system, which forced us to install the {$25000.00} estimated cost power transfer line/hardware and then installed improperly specified \" much cheaper '' parts, different than the permit plans submitted to the township and agreed upon to utilize the XXXX transfer line. I notified Sunnova before XXXX XXXX completion, but they could not assist due to loan/contract not active yet. It was months later, we had not had any resolve with XXXX XXXXXXXX other than the ongoing repairs needed to be made to keep the system working fully.\n\nThe first invoice/bill received via email, was on XXXX from Sunnova for {$1600.00} which is THREE times the XXXX XXXX payment on the contract. Sunnova is also charging us a higher 4.99 % interest rate which was supposed to be 1.99 % as it was listed in several executed contracts prior. Sunnova emailed and demanded execution of several modified/altered contracts due to date of the installation, changes to the system size etc. but should have not affected the interest rate as the purpose of these solar loans was the low financing rates of .9 or 1.9 %, which we opted for the 1.9 % for a better discount on the installation.\n\nI am disputing the payment due, the total amount of the contract and that the contract should NOT be in effect until the system has been installed correctly as per the agreed specifications, not only that they system was made active with XXXX XXXX XXXX power company. XXXX XXXX actually said they were complete with the install by the first week of XX/XX/XXXX, however it took until mid XXXX when I as the homeowner, was able to make contact with the utility company to enable the net meter that was installed in XX/XX/XXXX. \nWe did not receive anything by mail ever from Sunnova. I was told that I needed to give to Sunnova, the financing company working with XXXX XXXX, a large payment of over {$14000.00} that I would get back as a refund when I filed my taxes. XXXX XXXX reiterated that fact time and time again, even when I was asking him questions about getting the refund right before I filed my taxes in XXXX. Only after I filed my taxes and asked my accountant where the lump sum payment was, was I informed by my accountant that it wasn't a lump sum payment, but a credit. Because of my income, the credit would be over XXXX  years or so.\n\nThen I received a letter from Sunnova stating if I didn't pay the lump sum payment, my bill would go up by more than 50 % to the outrageous amount of {$250.00}. This lump sum payment is an unreasonable and misleading requirement, especially after I was told that the refund would come in the form of a direct IRS credit. \n\nFurthermore, I have documentation that shows XXXX XXXX representatives, including XXXX XXXX, explicitly told me that I would receive a refund from the IRS, not a credit. This conflicting information points to a serious lack of transparency and trustworthiness on the part of XXXX XXXX and Sunnova.
