However, in XXXX, I called back in to see why the balance changed, but the 30 day late showed on my credit report. I was then informed that no late payments showed. I then spoke to a supervisor in the credit reporting department and was told it was not Captial One who was reporting a 30 day late payment, it was XXXX. I finally followed up with both Capital One and XXXX XXXX  and XXXX XXXX  stated they do not have any records of my account any longer and are not reporting anything. Once I pulled credit reports from all three bureaus, I see that it is in fact Capital One reporting a late payment. \nNot only had I not received a card from Capital One yet for the late payment they are reporting, but I was also told the 30 day late status was removed over 7 months ago. I have over a dozen accounts on my credit report with as much as a 10 year history and this is the only one reflecting a non-payment or late payment.
