While I appreciate the Banks efforts to address my concerns, I must respectfully disagree with the conclusion of its investigation and provide additional context that was not sufficiently addressed.\n\n1. Billing Error Notice Was Sent Contrary to the Banks claims, a Billing Error Notice regarding the dispute claim was sent prior to the bill becoming past due. This was done in accordance with the Fair Credit Billing Act ( FCBA ). The Bank failed to acknowledge or resolve the complaint as required by law, instead continuing to issue automated reminders that did not address the substance of the dispute. I submitted the notice in good faith to ensure the issue could be resolved without adverse impact on my credit. The lack of action by the Bank on my Billing Error Notice constitutes a failure to meet its obligations under the FCBA. \n2. Failure to Resolve or Acknowledge the Dispute It is critical to note that the Bank did not respond to my Billing Error Notice or provide any explanation or resolution to the dispute before reporting the account as past due. The Banks response references its obligations to report accurate information to credit bureaus, but that obligation includes ensuring that any disputed amounts are not reported as delinquent while the dispute is under review. By failing to address the dispute in a timely manner, the Banks actions resulted in an inaccurate and unfair derogatory mark on my credit report.\n\n3. Adverse Credit Reporting Without Resolution despite the Banks acknowledgment that I raised concerns through the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ), the issue at hand began much earlier when the Bank failed to address my Billing Error Notice. Reporting my account as past due while the dispute remained unresolved is not only a violation of my consumer rights but also detrimental to my creditworthiness.\n\n4.
