If they believe that I'm using a credit repair agency, they would also understand that this type of business can not operate without consumers reports ( legitimate business reason ) and they would know that a credit repair agency would not have any way to send correspondence about a consumer to them if the consumer had not provided their personal information and permission ( initiated by the consumer ). \n\nEquifax failed to use this same type of regard and care with me as a consumer when dealing with creditors. \n\nBefore I contacted CFPB, I attempted to send letters, call, fax and submit a dispute online.
