I do not believe the Bankruptcy ought to have been placed on my Public Record because I did, in fact, not complete a Bankruptcy. I found a way to pay off my debt on my own and have the documents to prove it. \n\nI have complained to Experian, XXXX, and XXXX for the last 7 years. XXXX stated that the Bankruptcy is not on my file in their system. However, Experian and XXXX remain steadfast in keeping this erroneous information on my Credit report and I demand it be removed because I never went through with the Bankruptcy. This incorrect information has greatly impacted and affected my life. On the Results of the Reinvestigation letter LexisNexis sent me on XX/XX/2020, LexisNexis said they verified that a bankruptcy case was accurately reporting on my LexisNexis XXXX report. On XX/XX/2020, I sent LexisNexis a certified letter with return receipt service requesting the Method of Verification that was used to verify the bankruptcy case that they stated had been verified by them using the assigned consumer and customer number according to the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Within 15 business days, LexisNexis did not send me a description of the procedure they used to verify the bankruptcy or the business name, address, and telephone number that they contacted to verify the bankruptcy case with. What I received from Lexisnexis was a letter that said additional information was required to process my request.
