That is no big sin, I don't mind getting offers in the mail, however, when I see the big three credit monitoring agencies profiting gloriously off selling my information, and they don't properly protect that information, it's time for these agencies to provide 100 % of their monitored people with free monitoring reporting if they continue to sell this data for profit, OR require these agencies to to REQUEST FROM EACH AND EVERY PERSON IN THEIR DATA SET BEING SOLD PERMISSION TO MARKET OUR INFORMATION CLEARLY, OPENLY, AND WITHOUT AUTOMATIC ENROLLMENT, WHILE OFFERING ONLY OPT-OUT FEATURES. We do not know the opt out features ... and searching for them is difficult and time consuming .... Since these companies sell our data, Please request congress to authorize a law, or if the rules of the CFPB allow, INSTATE SUCH RULES TO IMMEDIATELY CEASE AND DESIST THE SELLING OF PERSONAL DATA TO ANYONE, WITHOUT FREE CREDIT MONITORING PROVIDED FOR AS LONG AS THE DATA REMAINS FOR SALE. In essence Automatically OPT OUT everyone, and mandate OPT IN Policies that are clear, robust, and without obfuscation as part of some other credit card application the will automatically cause an hidden opt-in feature. We can not trust the XXXX, XXXX, Equifax, XXXX XXXX, XXXX  et al, who've been hacked to provide proper protections for this critical information, so FREE round the clock credit monitoring via electronic means is only a fair trade for our personal information to be sold. One year free service is insufficient, it needs to be 24/7-365 as long as they maintain our records, OR allow US to have 100 % of our information to be 100 % deleted upon request. To my knowledge I have not directly authorized these companies to obtain nor use my person financial data, thus I should have the right to have all of this data deleted. to avoid future breaches, reduce identity theft opportunities, and added risk, without having their free credit monitoring be applied to those whose data they've collected. It costed them nothing to send email alerts out for those that have monitoring services ... in fact they market these serviced directly to those whose data has already been breached by their negligence. They have now reported late payments to all three credit reporting agencies for a single, partial month charge of {$47.00} for insurance coverage for the month of XX/XX/XXXX, because they claim they didn't receive the proof of coverage that I sent in multiple times using multiple methods. My credit has now been downgraded because of the false late payment reports they have filed. The loan does affect DTI and may require payoff or lien release, which directly contradicts what was represented at the time of sale. \n\nHad we been properly informed of the true financial and refinancing impact, we would not have agreed to this loan. \n\nAt the time of sale, we were explicitly promised 24-hour solar system monitoring and proactive notification of any equipment failures. This promise was a material factor in our decision to proceed with the solar installation and financing. \n\nWithin days of installation, two micro-inverters failed. Despite the promise of continuous monitoring, we received no alerts, notifications, or outreach from the installer, lender, or monitoring provider regarding the system failures. \n\nAfter approximately 13 months, only one micro-inverter was repaired, while the second remained non-functional. The remaining failed micro-inverter was not repaired until approximately 29 months after installation, and at that time we were required to install the replacement ourselves, despite this being a warranted system issue. \n\nThroughout this entire period, no monitoring alerts were ever provided, and no proactive communication occurred regarding the system not operating as promised. Across two pay periods, my balance has decreased for no reason after it increased to {$550.00} and is now {$450.00}. This mobile app uses fraudulent behaviors to cover up their deception, and coercion even going to extreme to list repayment transactions with banks as clothing purchases using your name as the transaction header! Additionally, in their terms and conditions they also state that they are not a bank but continuously proceeds to request tips when you use their service as though they are a restaurant. They also monitor your bank account so closely that they will even mimic charges that your bank charges you ( e.g. overdraft fees ) and then proceeds to charge those same charges with the label of ACH fees which accumulates and appears as a double charge even though they falsely exploit that they are not a bank and do not charge overdraft fees. This should never have been allowed to be placed on my credit report as it was included in the bankruptcy, the account was not within the last 7 years and I believe I should have been contacted when it was reported. I have tried calling Experian and can not get to a person, tried their online dispute tool several times. I am unable to complete my dispute, the website keeps timing me out. Now the account I created says I have the wrong user name and password that I had just created minutes ago. I have maintained perfect credit since XXXX and I am proud of my record and my scores. I would like this to be removed and Experian should be investigated. Neither of the other two bureaus have this issue.
