- Expertise in consumer protection and consumer financial products or services.
- Significant experience researching and analyzing consumer financial markets, laws, and regulations.
- Past record of senior public or academic service.
- Recognition for professional achievements and objectivity in economics, econometrics, or law.
Members of the taskforce shall serve for one year and will operate under the guidance of the CFPB. Compensation may be available as well as support for travel costs. Conditions apply. Support staff will be available to taskforce members.

The information you provide to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (“Bureau”) will assist the Bureau in selecting members to serve on the Taskforce on Federal Consumer Financial Law.
The Bureau will have access to personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, number, and mailing address.
Information collected will be treated in accordance with the System of Records Notice (“SORN”), , 83 FR 23435. Although the Bureau does not anticipate further disclosing the information provided, it may be disclosed as indicated in the Routine Uses described in the SORN.
