As a Managing Counsel, Regulations you will: Manage a workforce of attorneys and support staff within the Division of Regulations. Ensure work is accomplished in accordance with established and emerging policy and practice. Manage significant, complex rule-making projects and policy proposals. Formulate conclusions and recommendations, and present findings to senior CFPB management. Oversee the formulation, implementation and interpretation of consumer credit and financial services laws, regulations and rules. Oversee the preparation of draft legislation and rules, amendments to policies, Congressional testimony, official CFPB interpretations, and analyses of proposed legislation, rules and policies. Speak authoritatively on consumer financial services laws and other regulatory matters and represents CFPB at meetings and conferences. Travel Required Supervisory Status Promotion Potential
