Summary
This position in the Office of the Director (OD) in the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau(CFPB). The incumbent serves as the Special Assistant to a Senior Executive, including the Director and Deputy Director, in OD and has a close and confidential working relationship with a Senior Executive.

Responsibilities
The following are the duties of this position at the CN-52, broadly equivalent to the GS-12. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.
- Works collaboratively with a Senior Executive and members of the OD team to implement work processes and standardize procedures.
- Reviews and analyzes incoming staff actions and decision correspondence; based on knowledge of functional assignments, may assign tasks and actions to Offices in response to requests for information and recommendations on Division-level issues.
- Completes projects and studies regarding current priorities or challenges requiring immediate attention, including data gathering, coordination with internal contributors and stakeholder, conducting analysis, and developing customized reports, presentations, communications and other deliverables based on outcomes.
- Personally, or in coordination with others, arranges for the development of briefing materials, talking points, and executive summaries.
