Summary

This position is located in the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), Consumer Education and Engagement, Office of Consumer Response. The Senior Business Analyst consults with business partners to determine business processes and software requirements that support Consumer Response organizational functions and business strategies.

Responsibilities

Senior Business Analyst, you will:


        • Collaborate with internal business partners across the Bureau to define and document business processes and software requirements for Consumer Response technology initiatives, including workflow management systems, public-facing digital products, and business analysis tools

        • Serve as a subject matter expert for agile testing and requirements gathering to improve business process and systems.

        • Lead and support the development of detailed requirements specifications documentation for the implementation or revision of systems or applications, including requirements traceability matrices.

        • Draft, write, and refine system requirements in the form of functional agile epics, user stories, and tasks; transform epics and user stories from draft to refined, consumable requirement, by working with both business stakeholders and the technical team to answer questions and explore options; ensure quality and completeness of stories documented by junior staff and contractors.

        • Create and document test cases in a standardized format, and utilize point-and-click software to build test cases in a testing automation tool.
