Responsibilities

As a Senior Advisor, you will:

  • Provide cross-issue advice and recommendations to the Staff Director on the CFPB’s outreach strategy to, engagement of, and interaction with its Advisory Board and Councils.
  • Develop messaging to Advisory Board and Council stakeholders, and ensure that messaging is aligned with CFPB goals and objectives.
  • Support and help manage the Bureau's interactions with Advisory Board and Council members as needed by the Staff Director by providing policy advice and recommendations to improve the Bureau’s relationships with and planned external engagements with Board and Council members; drafting, reviewing, and editing effective and timely briefing memos and talking points for senior Bureau leaders.
  • Represent the Advisory Board and Councils Office in meetings of the CFPB’s Policy Committee and multiple CFPB policy working groups, and leads working groups as necessary.
