This position is located in the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Consumer Education and Engagement Division, Office of Servicemember Affairs (OSA). The mission of OSA is to improve the financial well-being of military consumers and their families as they make decisions along their military lifecycle.
Lead and develop complex education programs and materials specifically targeting servicemember and veteran communities. Products may include curriculum, tip sheets, gamified resources, fact sheets, outreach materials, and relevant tools to enhance decision making. Emphasis is on practical, useful, and engaging materials that focus on issues of key concern to servicemembers.
Collaborate with stakeholders, partners and offices within the Bureau in the development of advisory and instructional material and course design to provide servicemembers and veteran consumers with the information they need to choose the consumer financial products and services that are best for them and avoid scams.
Lead the development and coordination with external stakeholders to distribute outreach materials, education tools, and content for use in pilot and public education programs to the servicemember community.
Serve as lead contracting officer representative (COR) managing complex education contracts for the Office of Servicemember Affairs education programs.
Represent the Office of Servicemember Affairs at external and or public events to raise awareness of the OSA’s online financial education program.
