This position is located in the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Consumer Education and External Affairs, Office of Consumer Education. The purpose of this position is to develop, update, and/or launch tools and resources that educate consumers and help them make sound financial decisions.

As a Product Management Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing products throughout the Product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing requirements, defining the product vision, conducting user testing and developing consumer tools and products.
  • Monitoring product performance via metrics, trends and usage to determine consumer engagement and needed enhancements.
  • Liaising with subject matter experts and the Design & Development team to ensure requirements are clearly articulated and adhered to.
  • Providing managers and senior executives with regular status updates and product improvement recommendations based on data and consumer feedback.

Travel Required

  • Occasional travel - 1-5 nights per month.
