Summary

The position is located at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Office of Supervision Examinations. The incumbent plans and manages the work of diverse staff located in headquarters and across the regions to foster accountability within Supervision and promote the continual improvement of policies, procedures, processes, and products to ensure they operate efficiently.

Responsibilities

As a Lead Quality Management Program Analyst, you will:

  1. Consistent with the strategy of the quality management program and the needs of Supervision's management team, lead and participate in strategic and in-depth reviews of the highest risk areas.
  2. Oversee work assignments of team members and the design of the scope, choice of representative testing periods, frequency of testing, and testing strategies for the review. Review appropriateness and consistency of findings from each in-depth review, its conclusions, and the proposed corrective actions.
  3. Serve as a liaison with other CFPB offices, other regulatory agencies, and the Office of the Inspector General to provide advice and information on the supervision program's quality management efforts.
  4. Lead and participate in the development of corrective action plans in response to IG findings.
  5. Review the quality, accuracy, and consistency of the work of the quality management team and monitors the status of their work progress throughout the lifecycle of reviews and assessments to ensure consistency with Supervision's annual quality management strategy.
