Summary

This is a time-limited term position in the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Operations Division, Office of Technology and Innovation, Cybersecurity team (led by the Chief Information Security Officer) on the Cybersecurity Program Management team. This incumbent is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing cybersecurity program management work and events.

Responsibilities

As a Cybersecurity Project Manager, you will:

  • Define requirements, plan, organize, and coordinate cybersecurity work and events to be accomplished by the project team, including breaking down work into discrete tasks, working with task owners to determine task schedule and dependencies, and incorporating this information into a task tracking tool.
  • Act as subject matter expert to lead cybersecurity awareness, education, and training programs. Plan, organize, coordinate, and execute work related to reducing human risks at the Bureau.
  • Act as liaison to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) to plan, coordinate and execute cybersecurity activities and reporting.
  • Establish metrics methodology, develop automated cybersecurity metrics by using business intelligence tools for internal and external stakeholders. Draft metrics submission packages, facilitate clearance reviews and approvals.
