This position is located at Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Office of Technology and Innovation (T&I), Privacy Team. The incumbent serves as a Privacy Program Analyst for CFPB's Privacy program with responsibility for monitoring privacy compliance within assigned portfolios.

Responsibilities

The following are the duties of this position at the CN-53, broadly equivalent to the GS-13. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.

As a Government Information Specialist (Privacy Program Analyst), you will:

- Monitor Federal law, regulation, and policy for changes that affect the Privacy program.
- Provide guidance in the development and establishment of Privacy policies and procedures to ensure that significant privacy issues are identified, and deficiencies are addressed.
- Review proposed Bureau policies and procedures that have a privacy component and provide recommended changes to impacted management and program processes.
- Recommend the adoption and application of new methods and approaches to ensure program or project requirements are aligned with strategic objectives.
