With the Assistant Director, Chief Communications Officer and Office of Communications staff, organize and manage the master calendar and strategy for the timing and rollout of Bureau events and new media messaging. Advise internal Bureau partners on overall consistency and strategic requirements for external messaging.
Serve as point of contact for internal Bureau staff regarding external messaging and blog posts or other outreach events. Advise staff on appropriate timelines for blog posts or other content.
Assign blog posts and other content to searchable categories and determines need for new categories to ensure Bureau content is easily accessible to the general public.
Review Bureau content and proposed roll out calendars to assess for strategic opportunities or potential risks in light of current internal or external environments.
Review and coordinate, if necessary, review by other Office of Communications staff, external facing draft documents through the Bureau’s internal clearance process.
Leverage existing CFPB technology, including customization of tools, to build, maintain, and implement a centralized calendar to manage and track the development and deployment of Bureau blog posts, events, or other documents for external consumption.
